Rumours that Massive have been found guilty and are now just awaiting the punishment to be announced. People suggesting they have bartered it down to 12 point deducted with a further 9 suspended. All hear say of course. If true, then there is a chance we could relegate them next week.

If not next week then it'll just be a matter of time. 12 point deduction would put them on 40 points and they're one of the worst form teams in the division

Do the EFL have the cajones to hand them a ban this season?

Do the EFL have the cajones to hand them a ban this season? If guilty then they will have to. If they leave it they would be open to absolute ridicule. I would fully expect a points deduction this season if guilty

I would fully expect a points deduction this season if guilty ... they can always say that they need to recheck this or push the findings out to their lawyers to verify, thereby "legitimately" delaying the decision.

Do the EFL have the cajones to hand them a ban this season? If not... why not? There seems to be a wall of silence on this matter, almost as if the EFL are waiting to see if the Wendies do enough to escape with the penalty before handing it out. Just like wigan should have got, the penalties should apply now. No point waiting just slap them with the points deduction and have done with it.

I couldn't wish a points deduction on a different club - Well, maybe one, but this is a fine second choice!

It's dragged and dragged. I genuinely think if they are going to do it they'll do it imminently. but I believe in fairies and otiums yarns so maybe I'm not best placed to comment

Didn’t the efl lose a case of the same charges with the clubs owner already. If so how could they find the club guilty and not the owner?

Be nice if we could have some sort of update.
I dont think it is the EFL that decide on whether or not to hand out a point deduction but I think whoever decides will bottle out of a decision this season, too much other stuff going off.
Chansiri needs punishing though. He's taken zero notice of FFP and then tried to cover it all up.
Barnsley threatening to sue if there isn't a point deduction. I'd support them their claim.

Just looked on oddschecker and they are 21/20 to go down... There have been no odds for championship relegation quoted by any of the 20 bookmakers on Oddschecker for several days.

If the EFL have found them guilty of the offence then I would have thought they would also be serious trouble with HMRC/Companies House for false accounting. Putting the sale of a sugnificant asset in a different years accounts to the one in which it took place

Putting the sale of a sugnificant asset in a different years accounts to the one in which it took place to be honest I woudnt back on them being docked points this season if found guilty nor wigan for that matter. they should but the lack of consistency from the efl is well known. no point jumping the gun but it needs both Wednesday and wigan to be brought to a end

The efl are a joke. Charge the massive last year. What the hell are they doing letting it drag on so far.
Either they broke the rules or they didn’t.

Really cannot see Wednesday getting a points deduction. A fine at worst. EFL have a really poor track record of addressing these issues, especially regarding 'bigger' clubs.

If they are found guilty, then they will get a massive points deduction - pun intended They have moved the sale of the ground into a different accounting year to avoid a points deduction for breaking FFP rules. So they should get the points deduction for breaking the FFP rules plus further points deductions for the attempted cover up.

They didn't get off the charge, they were found guilty (after the EFL appealed) but inexplicably they avoided another points deduction and got away with a reprimand.
