Some fans won't commit to buying a season ticket if we're still in with a chance of getting relagated. The club need to hang fire a while to see how it goes. Anyone expecting the season card price to go down if we're relegated will be disappointed.

Just in case the club are reading this and to reiterate what others have said.
Phil just don’t f**king bother sending me a season ticket renewal at least until we’re mathematically safe. Your small time mentality in the summer set the scene for this atrocious season. If we don’t end the season strongly and I mean at least 60 points i won’t be renewing and that’ll be the first time in 35 years I’ve not bought a season ticket. I also want to know that we will be investing in the team to have at least a push for the play offs next season.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they tried the buy it now prices are frozen in March approach or something similar.
Its a NO from me if we are back to league 1 simply because it should never have happened and those running the club proved themselves woefully inadequate in so many areas. The lack of funds for this season despite no attempt made to stay in the premier league and all the money and parachute money is a disgrace. We have been treated like MUGS for what we have had to put up with . We did our bit, we filled the stadium, we sang our hearts out and got behind them regardless , and as far as I am concerned the club needs to produce a product worthy of my support. 40 years of waiting for our lucky break , waiting to be amongst the money , only to see them mismanage it and things turn out the way they have, well they can do one if we are relegated again.

Anyone expecting the season card price to go down if we're relegated will be disappointed. The club will find themselves disappointed with 8,000 empty seats too This is why I don't get the feeling that some seem to have that they're better off waiting until this season is settled before releasing details. If they go on sale "now"...most of the regular folk will get them, and some folk who would baulk at a straight later "want to buy a League 1 season ticket" option would buy anyway because its not like its a nailed on certainty like last season, and fans will err on the optimistic side and assume we'll get away with it and be in the Championship next season, especially after a load of new signings. Delay until we're a League 1 club and you'd get none of the above mentioned baulkers buying, in addition some of the regular folk will have a clearer decision to "bother or not" if Championship looks like its potentially (or actually) off the table...and then suddenly the seasons over, everyone wants to forget the last 12 (or actually 36) months and go on holiday and when you're into summer and there's no footy at the weekend its easy to realise its not the be all and end all and not bother. Plus by then we'll all realise that the lads on loan are going back and the lads we've signed short term this January plus Simpson and Campbell and Hogg etc are looking like a season too far, and we've got a MASS of signings to get right in summer again to have anything like a squad that won't be bottom half again next season (assuming Championship)....I reckon they need to get people triggering season ticket purchases now rather than when its easier to think clearer about next season. The earlier season tickets are released the more they will sell is my opinion.

The only thing the club should be concentrating on is survival in the Championship. If we do that income will look after itself. As for pricing keep them the same. Now then players head down arse up & earn your good money & respect & appreciation will be reciprocated.

Or yellow bird for that matter.

Maybe i’m stupid but i’d happily set up a Direct Debit and tell the club to just debit my account every year regardless of division or price.
Suppose that’s why teams like Arsenal get away with taking the piss with their prices.

It's not that it's the thought of League One, there is absolutely nothing at all positive about going back in to that league absolutely nothing at all and I really wouldn't blame anyone who didn't buy a season ticket if they were relegated, bloody awful division.

All I can say is if they put them up then I’ll be enjoying my weekends again as £250 is more than enough to pay for a season ticket. Football clubs use the loyalty of the fans to rip their own supporters off. Yes we’re one of the cheapest season tickets in the country but it’s still obscene given the millions the clubs receive from sky and sponsorship. Somethings going to give soon and it could end up with really empty stadiums up and down the country and a lot more clubs going to the wall chasing the dream of what is a pretty shitty PL.

I also want to know that we will be investing in the team to have at least a push for the play offs next season. What an utterly bizarre thing to say. So unless we basically win half of our remaining games, you won't bother turning up next season? So 59 points won't be enough for you to renew, even if that left us somewhere around 14th? Wow. So you've been going about 35 years, seen us be absolutely shite in leagues below this with terrible players and managers , but unless we get 60 points in this league this season (which given how we started the season would be fucking amazing) you won't renew? I can't get my head around that. It's your choice of course which is fine and I respect the fact you've been going for so long, but I just can't understand that at all, I really can't.

In the PL season ticket sales = c.1% of income. In the Champs season ticket sales = c.30% of income.
I fear we’ve been spoilt for too long.

Lots of people thought the PL was wank. By extension, we have to presume that League 2 is also wank. Let's move the discussion on. Most people think the FA Cup is wank and there's a thread on the EFL Cup pretty much saying that it is defunct, probably because it is wank. Fuck me, we might as well do a Bury.

Don’t forget the club only get £207.50 from a £249 season card. Not a lot really is it when you consider the overhead involved in running a business of any kind.

League one power house again. With a potential play off push. Plus two games against big club Sunderland. Local derbies against tinpot outfits such as donny and Rotherham. Potential fixtures against Bradford if they can get promoted. What's not to like??

Price at HTFC for season tickets is crucial if PH wants to challenge next year he needs a full stadium and £250 is the limit. If he raises the price thousands will drop off.
