It saddens me that the #blindmasses are still in denial 200m EPL revenue in our 2 years. Millions incoming from player sales. 100m Parachute payments and sales this season with 1m spent only AND WE HAVE A ONE IN ONE OUT POLICY and still rely on freebies. ... Come on guys If dean HASNT taken his 50m, if Potless DOES have money. If we DO plan to put money back intot he team lets do this I believe it's common knowledge that Dean has called in his loan and he's entitled to do so. We don't get £100m in parachute payments, do your research and you'll discover it's a lot less than that. Sales this season equate to in excess of £20 pre Mooy but you don't get all that upfront, and assuming PH is being honest (and I've no reason to doubt what he says as it's plausible), a large part of the Billing sale has gone to HMRC in capital gains tax. You're statements are littered with inaccuracies and you constantly contradict yourself. You seem to be still on a personal crusade to discredit former and current owners of HTAFC. If you're able to offer anything more then now is the time to put up and help us on our way back up the table. It's 65m this season; and 30m in player sales. Please, read my posts correctly. Smith 5m Billing 16m Mooy 5m+loan fee Sobhi Loan fee VLP 1m There's plently there. We don't pay fees upfront either! You're wrong on nearly every statement

So much for chat about season tickets, it's back to 'Potless Phil' ranting on about finance and transfer fees etc. Also the #blindmasses thing is just silly, not entirely sure what purpose it serves (other than none).
Anyway, back to season tickets. Good prices, good decision to freeze prices, I'll be renewing as who knows what could happen next season (let's be honest, with the £179 prices in the promotion season nobody will have ever expected that, so anything is possible).

With my circumstances changing slightly and the fact I already miss more games at Championship level because we don't play as many on Sunday and also more weekday evening fixtures I was wondering if it would be worth renewing for next season. A price freeze was pretty much the only thing that might tempt me to renew so I'll have to give it serious thought now. Good work by town, think they have read the general feeling and worked out a good few would be opting away if the prices went drastically up.

So who’s going to renew their season card early to qualify for the 10 draws...

Have I missed something - are those quoting facts, figures, numbers etc saying that as we got parachute payments and some incoming transfer fees prices should have been reduced?

So who’s going to renew their season card early to qualify for the 10 draws... I was going to do it this month anyway as I've got the money now, so I might as well do it Monday. Mind you, with my luck in ballots, I won't hold my breath regarding winning anything!

No price freeze for me! But that's because mi laddo turns 18 in 6 weeks so will need an adult one for next season. Still, less than £500 for both of us, which I bet is less than my husband will be paying for his Derby one for next season, so I've no real complaints. If he is 18 shouldn't he be paying for his own? Age 15 my first take home pay was £33....£20 of it went straight to my step-mother in board. When did adult/kid spongers stop paying for their own stuff?

How did people understand this money system!?!? Tourists must have just opened their hands and say 'take what you want'
How does 6 pence equal 2.5p.
It will always be a mystery to me.

When I qualified ( by then married) my first monthly salary was £ 57 and 17 shillings for a supposed 42 hour week ! !

Bit judgey. 🤷♂️☹️ £33 back then is probably equivalent of over a hundred quid now...she was leaving you with over £50 in year 2020 equivalent spends, assumedly weekly?? I suspect if you watched Town back then it was like all of us, paying couple of quid cash on the door home or away, MUCH more accessible than shelling out for a season ticket. Securing a job in 2020 as a 15 or 18 year old is not quite so straightforward as asking a mates dad or queueing up at a factory gate as it was for us, alongside the likely pressures of full time education. Give them a break...he’s not buying his 18 year old a season ticket because the 18 year old can afford it...it’s because he/she CANT afford it.

A bit of mutual mastication can sometimes be a nice change.

I was 15 and earning £33 a week....about double my contemporaries. If you are 18 and want to see football at £10 a match you should be earning it...just my humble opinion.

Lucky Bags.....6d. A weekly treat from the sweet shop right next to St. Peter’s school in Birstall.
Football special Birstall Smithies to Leeds Road return 2s, entrance 2s, programme 6d. Marvellous.
Farthings stopped being used in 1961 so I don’t remember actually using them, knew what they were though. If the old currency was reinstated today I wouldn’t have the slightest problem using it again. Coat pockets would need reinforcing though.
