I've "liked" that, for some reason 🤔😁 we all need to pull together for next season It's times like these I'm relieved I can't access DATM at work. How would you explain why you're laughing so much at an exchange like that. How do you put it the context of everyone else saying how great Phil is (and it is a good move don't get me wrong) and then you read that. You're a funny man Digs.

It’s a scam. It’s the Giants way to get bums on seats Hope it works better, they still don't get bums on seats despite selling tickets for 2 bob and a pickled egg. It's almost as if people realise they're a poor team in a shit sport 🤔

Well done by the club
Correct decision and good to see PH continue DH’s legacy of keeping football relatively affordable to the local community

Im assuming the Sheffield Wednesday offer is simply a April Fools Day Joke that their marketing department have accidentially released 2 months to early. No way would any genuine business make such a stupid offer unless it is to pay for legal fees to defend against EFL action!

Anyone notice that the anti PH brigade haven’t taken part in this thread? If this is aimed at me... Superb continuation on the pricing strategy. But again if you take your rose tinted spectacles off it's a better business decision to sell say 18,000 Season cards adn reap the matchday income than selling 10,000 at double of that price. So thanks for the gesture PP and congrats on the business acumen. .. I'm not anti PP; I just seem to be in the minority that can see the shit show he inherited which the #blindmasses still deny. He doesn't strike me as being on a level to be able to use his own money to buy the club (looks like bought on parachute payments) or any money for transfers despite the fact that we've sold 30m+ of players and spent less than 1m this season. Don't tell me that these free agents have big wages and agent fees etc; we got rid of almost every single EPL wage from Wagner to De Poitre. Can't be bothered to go through the figures again but there huge black holes in the finance, everywhere..literally everywhere. 50m taken back by Dean whether t's in 1 lump or over a couple of years. The club wouldn't have spent as we did if we knew this was his plan surely... even this season there's a question where 65m+30m parachute and TV money have gone as we certainly don't have a huge squad on big wages or have spent any money at all..... I'm happy with PP so far and just hope we can invest wisely in the squad. For me we need a new GK, RB, CB, DM, RW, LW, 10, Strk as a minimum. Our squad is paper thin in almost every position.

In all honest it would have been total madness on the club's behalf to put them up after the last turgid season and a half and as we still don't know which division we will be in next season, it's a wise move. I'm reasonably confident we won't go down but nothing is certain at the minute, asking us to pay more for a League One season ticket would have had fans flocking to their armchairs.

Didn’t we used to pay more in league 2 16-17 years ago.

[/b] jesus christ...Right now we have a paper thin squad, have you seen our bench?! Everyone has left. I'm talking now or end of the season. You realise Chaloboah, ESR and Grabara are loan deals - right? - We need a new GK either now or next season as Grabara is on loan; personally i don't particulally rate him and he might be injured. Hamer is useless, we don't have a championship quality GK. Do you think our existing pool of GK now or once Grabara goes is even as good as Francis, Harper,m Vaesan, Ward, Smithies? Schofield, Hamer and coleman are the worst collection of GK we've had in my 25 years supporting town. - We need a new RB either now or end of the season as Simpson is on a 1 year deal; our cover Flo isn't a RB and he looks like leaving. You think we don't need a RB? madness. - We need a CB either now or next season as we have 2cb at the club and stank filling in. The same stank who has been a large part of a bottom 4 championship season and hasn't got int he team 3 years prior. You think we only need 2 cb? - We need a new DM now or next season as Chaloboah has been woeful for 30 games and on loan. Hogg is increasingly injured or banned. O brien is a waste DM. Who do we have outside of this as a holding player? - We need a new RW as we don't have any at the club. Kachunga isn't a RW - We need a new LW as we don't have any at the club. Grant isn't a LW. - We need a Striker as Campbell won't score 5 goals this season or ever again. If Mounie is injured we only have Grant as a striker. And if it's up to you we wouldn't have bought a LW #BLINDMASSES

Do you think that's realistic for a club of our size? We don't have any RW or LW at all presently.. We have one RB who leaves at the end of the year and awful GK options. Come season end we don't have a GK or RB - correct? So that's two players that need to be bought Presently we don't have a RW or LW - correct? So that's two players that need to be bought We need a DM and to send Chaloboah back - Opinion, but valid after 30 games of shite. I'm not asking for two full 11's - we don't have a 16, HAVE YOU SEEN OUR BENCH OF YTS PLAYERS? I have never once hurled insults here like many do but you're literally idiotic and clearly do not understand the players at our disposal. #Blindmasses

Why not start your own Down At The Potless Phil site, then all your followers can revel in your brilliance and any #Blindmases that decide they need reeducation can either defect to North Korea or join your message board. #SICKTODEATHOFPOMPOSARSEHOLES # YOURNOTTHEANSERYOURPARTOFTHEPROBLEM

the #Blindmasses aimed a dig at those that don't back Potless.
I back Potless
I am the one who makes the #Blindmasses aware of teh black holes in the finances - for some reason basic maths isn't a skill of the majority.
For a business to do anything but cheap season cards > more matchday revenue > Better atmosphere > Better performance = Would be utterly stupid.
So as i said, well done Potless. The decision wasn't hard?
I hope we buy players that we need given we SHOULD have tens of millions banked (Doesn't mean we have to spend it all) - We need a LW and RW. Anyone that thinks otherwise is literally deluded. We have needed this for 3 years.

Squad building will take time, what was it the Cowleys said, three windows? Naturally some positions will be prioritised, like at least one goalkeeper. Not throwing insults is a bit rich all the while you continue with that user name and avatar. #Blindman.

It saddens me that the #blindmasses are still in denial
200m EPL revenue in our 2 years. Millions incoming from player sales.
100m Parachute payments and sales this season with 1m spent only
AND WE HAVE A ONE IN ONE OUT POLICY and still rely on freebies.
... Come on guys
If dean HASNT taken his 50m, if Potless DOES have money. If we DO plan to put money back intot he team lets do this
-----------------Grabara-----------------
Simpson-----Schinder----Stearman-----Toffolo
-------------Hogg---O Brien----------------
Success -------- ESR -------------- Grant
-------------- Toney -------------------
Now that's a top 6 side with goals, power and pace.
Where's the money gone Dean?

And I've not once provoked that or disagreed with what you've said so I find that a little bit insulting and unnecessary. I just think you've got expectations way above our financial clout. You're talking about buying 8 new players, we don't necessarily have to buy, the loan system can be utilised to fill some of the gaps but as we know that's not always possible. Also, a club of our size and any other for that matter should always be looking to bring youth through the system so it's not unrealistic to have some kids on the bench. The bench for Hull contained how many YTS boys? I'd say the only questionable one on there is Pyke. Substitutes Joel Coleman; Steve Mounié, Rekeil Pyke, Jon Gorenc Stanković, Jaden Brown, Andy King, Florent Hadergjonaj I think you're perhaps referring to earlier games where we had an unprecedented number of injuries/suspensions plus the 3 amigos who refuse to play, you cannot have a squad big enough to cope with such events unless you're the top end of greedy league.

Great news, and it has to be sustained over the next few years.
Look at Hull the other night, 3 years on from Premier League relegation, published gate of 10474 (and likely actual attendance sub 10,000)....for a club with a larger uncontested catchment area and a larger city population in the middle of that.
Season tickets over there are £360...AND they have the option of subscribing monthly for £30.

Come on guys, this is the season ticket thread, take it to the finance thread or the transfer one.
Back on Topic. Great prices again, was expecting a small increase but will be happily renewing when the time comes. Next season could be a good one, and if we are ever to return to the greedy league, could be our best chance for a while.

We don't get £100m in parachute payments, do your research and you'll discover it's a lot less than that. Sales this season equate to in excess of £20 pre Mooy but you don't get all that upfront, and assuming PH is being honest (and I've no reason to doubt what he says as it's plausible), a large part of the Billing sale has gone to HMRC in capital gains tax. You're statements are littered with inaccuracies and you constantly contradict yourself. You seem to be still on a personal crusade to discredit former and current owners of HTAFC. If you're able to offer anything more then now is the time to put up and help us on our way back up the table.
