In your head there is no comparison, no town fans after the first 6 games thought town were a top 6 side in fact most will have known escaping relegation was a bloody miracle. I thought, and still do, that we should be with the players we had. These 2 have relied on Grant or Bacuna pulling something out the bag for them rather than finding a system and gameplan that suits what they've got available. How can you like it but then agree with me about the chairman being wrong ? Clayts

Much better chatting face to face, you have a chat with someone on here and sometimes points of view get missed as you can read a message the wrong way. Got to say going to the matches the bit I miss most is chatting with my friends about the game , all the best anyway irrelevant of our differing views we both want a successful town đ

Not been happy with the brand of football the club have served up for the last couple of years under the previous managers, but pre lockdown Danny Cowley has Done a good job to get us back in the mix considering we only had one point when he arrived.
I have become frustrated with him since we have started playing again and said as much on here, because we looked happy just to settle for a point when more looked possible.
No matter what division we are in I feel he deserves the chance to turn this club around one way or another!
He has done it before at clubs Where he has had to build up from scratch so I see no reason why with his own players, and a mixture of the young talent we have already at the club it could lead us into a more positive chapter than what we have had to put up with recently.

It does appear that I am in the minority in wanting the Brothers to stay and build a nasty niggly team full of terriers. I think we will punch above our weight next season if we can stay in this division with these two in charge, I cannot think of anyone better to have in charge if we go down and whatever happens I don't think we could afford to pay em off. So I presume a fair few folk are hoping they walk away, I hope they don't. You are not alone. I keep saying I still have confidence in them.

Never once wanted them out. I think some have short memories on here, we were down in September and they kept us up. They have earned their fee.

On the 29th of Sep last year our record was Wins. 0 Draws 2 Lost. 7 To get to where we are now is a fantastic achievement no matter how you look at it,so a big well done.

It's absolutely atrocious. The occasional bad performance is fair enough but thats 2 of the worst home performances I've ever seen in the last 3 weeks. No motivation, no plan, no desire and no ideas. Even if we somehow stay up. What do we have to look forward to if the manager can't come up with a plan to score a goal (have a shot on target?) against the worse defence in the league? We don't deserve to stay up and I won't be be feeling hard done by if they don't. Boro, Wigan, Stoke and now Luton have come to the JSS and absolutely bossed us. It one thing to be beaten by the better team it's another to not even try. Unacceptable. Wow you must be feeling well down tonight.....

Everyone is of course entitled to their opinion but for tonight, just enjoy that 11 months after a torrid start to the season, we can have a beer and relax knowing we are safe. Worry about next season tomorrow.
Whatever thoughts are on the Cowleys - based on points per game, if this same average for first 6 games before they joined, we would be bang in the middle of the table less than 10 points off the playoffs. Not bad when they came in to a shit storm - a club on the down, no confidence and a depleted squad.
I was angry after some of the recent games but itâs job done. Letâs get behind them now and give them next season to show if they have what it takes. The âthey are just L1 quality managementâ is a bizarre conclusion given less than a full season in this division and joined a broken club and had no preseason with us. Letâs judge them on next season.

I havenât seen mention of any viable option to come in and replace the Cowleys. After steering us to safety following a disastrous start to this season, they absolutely deserve a proper shot at it next time round. Get rid of as much of the dross as possible and those that donât want to be here, bring in some fresh faces and allow for a pre-season (however that will work under the present circumstances) and hopefully, we wonât be struggling at the wrong end of the table.

People who are calling for Cowley's head are deluded to me.if we replaced them we would be looking at mangers from below the championship with a record of success.who is there right now out there that have achieved more than the Cowley's? This isn't there squad.lets give them time to bring in there own players over this next window (I can see at least 9 coming in) then once they have there own players judge them then.lets not forget slot of Norwich wanted farke out after his first season also alot of Brentford fan wasn't to keen on franks..not turned out to shabby for both them clubs.also we need to stop the hate towards big phil.to me he only had one big decision to make that was appointment of the Cowley's and I think he has nailed it. MASSIVE transfer window coming up for us

Here's where I am.
They did a great job until December. From January onwards its been pretty poor, and I'm talking mainly performances. The games of Stoke H, Cardiff H, Leeds A and Wigan H are amongst the worst I have seen from a Town sides, certainly in the championship era.
If Phil decided to part company I'd back him. I haven't seen a style of play from them and I think they've been tactically naive.
If he keeps them on then he must A) Back them in the transfer market B) Give them time next season C) Tell them they must create a style of play
The worst thing would be to have a repeat of last year and half back the manager then get rid a few games in. But equally we have to have a way of playing and create more opportunities than we have done this calendar year, bar a couple of performances.

The big difference between Siewart and the Cowleys is that there were many that saw his frailties from the off and we were stupid to blunder into this season with him still in charge. Whilst I agree the Cowleyâs still have to convince many on their style of play/indentity, the vast majority can see this season was all about preserving our immediate Championship future and are happy for them to remain in charge, hope they are backed by PH in the upcoming transfer window and bring in the players who can play their intended style of football.

We have to give the Cowleys complete control of the recruitment so they can bring in players to suit the style they want to play. There have been a lot of really poor, boring performances recently but the end has justified the means, and there were some good performances earlier in the season. Iâm excited to see what they do when theyâve been able to bring their own players in and have had a full pre-season to get them playing their way. I donât particularly mind what style of play they use, as long as there is a style, we are well drilled at it and we show attacking intent, especially at home.
