well I just beat you after watching town for over 65 years and worked in the game part time for a lot of years and no one is above reproach and like you have seen many things that could have been done better but your comment about grant and vtoffolo really was immature and wrong but you are entiled to your view as am I we will just haveto differ on this one OK, I was a bit over the top, Toff is great going forward but not great defensively, Grant, to me, just isn't a very good footballer. He knows where the net is but take that away and he's a passenger, he doesn't beat men, he can't hold the ball up and his passing is poor as is his ball control. That’s better , I think most will agree with your amended version. At the moment despite some frailties in some areas they are the best we have and I can’t see us getting any better. Especially when we have much bigger problems in other areas.

Yeah must admit a couple times under pressure he’s either taken a bad touch or made a crap pass. I’m hoping after him (and Schindler) taking a bit of a battering confidence wise over last 2 seasons, a bit of positivity from Carlos rubs off on him and we get the Hoggy back we know is in there. (Don’t forget there were some calling for an England call up in our first PL season. 😉) When I've seen young High he looks like they've cloned Hoggy but is better on the ball High hopes for him (pun intended). Think he’ll be even better than O’Brien once he gets going.

Seen a rumour that Town are after a 2.Bundesliga midfielder, Keanu Staude on a season long loan with option to a permanent move. He's a right footed left winger, make of that what you will! Fits in with what Bromby was saying about the Kachunga/Lossl type loans, and I believe we have done a lot of scouting in that league over the last few months.

A traditional inside forward. Quite common in a 433 I think.
A 3 pronged attack today strike fear through the division!

Not sure how much would be in that Staude rumour I think he’s been released so it wouldn’t be a loan unless he signed a new deal. hardly played last year for Bielefeld in there promotion season.

Keanu Staude. Sounds like a bogus rumour to me. This transfer speculation is starting to get on my wick already.

Someone who I would like to see would be Callum camps from Rochdale. Over 200 games for them and is still only 24. Someone who I have seen a bit of who I believe could play at championship level.
Would be realistic too.

Would be realistic too. I agree in so far as he has always looked like he could step up a level. I really rate the lad but then you have to question why he is still at Dale having been a regular player for over 4 years.

Wonder whether Flo may have a future here. Kasimpasa had a great second half of season with only one defeat in last 12, culminating in beating the champions Basiksehir this week. Flo played in 11 of those 12, missing the one defeat as he was suspended. Strong chance that he may get a move to Turkey this summer, but he is certainly athletic enough to be a full-back in 4-3-3. Probably doesn't want to stay mind, but you never know.

Probably doesn't want to stay mind, but you never know. If he’s been doing well for them we should get a decent fee and his wages off the books which would be the best thing. He actually played pretty well at left back for a spell before he left. But he’s on premier league wages and we need to reduce the wage bill drastically, even more so because of the Covid hit. I’d say it’s a priority that we move on everyone that we signed in the premier league because of wages. So many clubs will be struggling that lots of players will be let go and we’ll be able to get better than Flo for less money.
