Not sure if anyone else has posted this but Van la Parra has just posted a picture on Instagram in our colours with the caption ‘gods timing’ Sounds like he may be on his way back. He's been adding out of context Town posts all summer, bit strange but wouldn't read too much into it.

Someone needs to tell Carlos that saying "NO!NO!NO! A THOUSAND TIMES NO!" is an option. Cue debate on VLP: Pros - he has pace and some trickery, good defensively, notoriously good at getting a team 50 yards up the field. Cons: end product is unusual (goals, assists count is low), can be selfish), posts amiguously and teasingly on Instagram.. There done it for you in one post 😁. No need to bother.

It’s getting embarrassing now , 3 years ago we a were premier league , not ten years ago or thirty but 3 .....and now literally we don’t have a striker and we 2 weeks into the season. Get thesen across t'Pennines, plenty of teams there that will satisfy your needs... When they let you back in at Man C don't forget to take your USB stick so that they can stick your banner up in all its digital glory... I honestly don't understand posts like this. Are you happy with what's happened to us? You want to stop people complaining about the obvious and seemingly unstoppable downgrading we're going through? There's been precious little to cheer about the past couple of seasons in terms of goals scored, games won and points taken. And now we're sleepwalking into another season with a negligently thin squad but you want people to put up and shut up? Mental

Beyond boring and you know what? Won’t change a thing, won’t make you happy, won’t get you a personal communication from the club or Phil giving you a detailed rundown of transfer activity or his personal finances. On the plus side you will get brownie points from your pals in The Circle Of Misery.

So the window shuts in a little over 2 weeks time, still plenty of time to bring some fresh recruits in but it’s looking very much like we need to sell first for this to happen. Another week has drifted by with nothing happening, we really need for WBA to play ball and get a deal for Grant over the line and then hope there’s some legs to the Kongolo to Fulham story as both deals should generate plenty of funds. As it stands, we are essentially impotent up front and severely lacking in creativity in midfield and at this rate, we’re going to have a similar start to this season to last which will make it once again a struggle to avoid relegation. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to have any positivity about anything connected to the club at present. You'd think both those deals will go the distance, as the buying clubs will think they hold the power and will try to time us out to force desperation. Modern football, where shithousery doesn't even try and disguise itself...

That does seem to the case, however, another comprehensive defeat for West Brom away at Everton tomorrow lunchtime may just hurry things along a bit you'd hope.

That and along with a draw or better for us puts WBA under all sorts of pressure. The WBA striker missing a gobber would help too.

It would be nice to get a good signing through the door today, give a nice little kick of positivity going into the weekend.

If its a case of who bluffs first between us and West Brom then I would be putting Grant straight in the side tomorrow. We are paying his wages to not play at the minute which is crackers.
I dont buy this what if he gets injured shite. What if we sell him and his replacement gets injured in the first game?

He looks like he doesn't give a shite at the best of times, so I doubt he'd be putting much effort in if we forced him to play He'll be gone soon - then everything will fall into place - like tippling over dominoes - which incidentally is how we have defended for the past 24 months

According to YP, James Garner is now definately not coming to us. Only seems a few days ago we were said to be favourites and he came to look round.
Leeds also likely to favour Hull over us for Gotts due to more game time

Have I missed something more than that photo? Whilst the picture is indeed in 'our colours', that's not our shirt and he also played for Herenveen and Brighton (I think). I think the clue you're looking for is maybe on his arm....

One game he beat the same man 4 times..then lost it.. I'm all for running with the ball and running at opponents but!!!!!!!

Besides there would be nothing to discuss on here other than how shit things are as everything about the club is just utter cats piss at the minute, the board would be like a ghost town.

You appear not to have anything other than a mild interest in the club and come on here and complain at fans complaining!!!

I have to say that our lack of activity this week is astounding. We all know we need to get a few in, and we know that some or all of these will be loans - surely these are low financial risk so can be done without the need for Grant/Flo to go? We've cleared so much off the wage bill and brought in fees - the lack of movement and communication is ridiculous.

Last Saturday I'd have said there was a 100% chance we'd have signed someone by today. Why are we so good breaking unwanted records and expectations?

We go into our 2nd consecutive game with a team devoid of any attacking threat and woefully short in numbers.

He held the ball because when there was no viable pass available the aim was not to lose possession . I’m convinced that with the shackles taken off he’d be one hell of an attacking threat.
