I hate to p*ss on your chips lads but... If we couldn't afford to extend Stankovics' contract as a squad player, then we can't afford to get the right players in. More loans, has beens and Herbert Bockhorns I reckon. I really hope I'm proved wrong though. Our only hope is that shifting the forest-worth of deadwood will free up some funds but frankly pretty much everyone has managed to devalue themselves by a disgusting amount. If we go down Bockhorn could be on the bench. |

I think we might do ok if stay in the championship- with Covid causing straightened financial circumstances across the board there will probably be a lot of decent unattached players available on frees. One thing I would like though is for us to bring in some bigger, more physical players- no more Pritchard, no dwarves, hobbits, midgets or any other form of diminutive lightweights

I’ll be staggered if the cowleys are here come the start of next season. I think you will be staggered then. I hope they do stay, we need continuity but I don’t think they’ll stay. |

I think you will be staggered then. I hope they do stay, we need continuity but I don’t think they’ll stay. Why do you think that? PH said we needed several transfer windows for the Cowleys to build a team of their own so I would imagine he would want to give them a chance to succeed once they have control over who they bring in. Whichever division we are in I can't see any benefit in changing managers now, plus it would be hugely expensive. |

Ohhhhh how I've missed these!!! We have two lined up from bundesliga 2.... horses mouth, but not sure if they rely on us staying in the championship. Don’t fooookin start bro.. I'd also be tempted to take cauley woodrow from Barnsley too

I don't know what level is being brought in but the other week on Look North Stuart McCall complained it was making life hard for next season's planning with the threat of one bring introduced. If he thinks he's got problems imagine trying to compete for 46 games with only Kongolo, Diahkaby and Membenza as the only 3 players we can afford to play. |

Said the same to my old man. Probably £50-60m of “young talent”. Not even good enough for Championship football in some cases. Be lucky to get £5m back and get their wages off the books. That takes some doing. |

I think any cap will be for new contracts, rather than existing contracts. However, I agree with you that it should relate to turnover rather than a fixed amount. I also don't think clubs should be allowed to borrow money to buy players either. Any transfers should have to be paid from within existing funds or be funded by a cash injection (not loan) from a shareholder. |

I would start by letting all those out of contract go.
Get rid of what we can of the "bad apple's" even if taking a loss.
Give the brothers some backing and I think we will be challenging play off positions
