That'll be one hell of a big bus 🤨 Room for a young but reasonably experienced Spanish full back on that bus?🤔 One with three relegations and a promotion to his name at 22?

Some different news: Callum Morton, a striker for WBA, has turned down the chance to play for Town to join up with his old boss, Michael Appleton, at Lincoln. I understand why Lincoln is a good choice for him: he’s being coached by someone he knows and he’s only had half a season in L2 so probably wants to walk before he can run, but he outright DECLINED us. I never thought I’d see the day where a footballer turns us down to go DOWN a division. His potential game time is immaterial, we are set to have a game every 4 days (give or take, cup runs are obviously a variable) so he would have played, no doubt about it. Does he need to prove himself in L1 before coming to a Championship club? Possibly, but WBA gave him a 4-year contract today. A PL club has given their striker a 4-year contract despite him only plying his trade in L2 so far in his career. That’s quite the statement to suggest that they clearly rate him. Regardless of whether you think he would have been a good signing or not, anyone who looks at this situation and isn’t bothered one iota about being rejected for a team (small team as well) in the division below is lying. Also, for those who shit themselves because of people posting on here without a source, here’s mine: Morton’s brother. He works as an U18 coach at Town and has meetings with the first team management daily (mainly regarding promoting players to the senior squad, but often transfers are discussed as well). Make of it what you will, but anyone pretending that players rejecting us to go to L1, whether you wanted them or not, isn’t an issue.. Jesus wept. I mentioned this lad on the Danny Ward thread. downatthemac.proboards.com/post/2712739If he's any good I'll be claiming to have spotted him a la Epsom ...

Hes seen and done a bit then and the fans quite liked him, which after 3 relegations cant be bad??? Or he will be shit, we will be shit, the clubs shit, it's all gonna be shit?? As per the suicidal sid fan club??? Positive thought from the coach and whatever squad he has. Many wont be tainted with the last 2 seasons of doom and with no moaning fans for a month or two in the ground, we might get a decent start.??

Again another one who has always been professional, I met him with my daughter and he was such a nice bloke, its not worked out after the first 10 games, but I think everyone in the stadium reacted with their loudest cheers when he scored... Ola ola ola ola mounie mounie.

Huddersfield Town striker Steve Mounie is in talks with St Etienne over a potential move, If this is true should be good all parties. Damn. Going to need that hot sauce with such a delicious rumour. I'm not against him leaving at all. He's such a good guy but the speed twins failed him massively. With them he was supposed to be the battering ram to our new attack but it never worked out and he just seems to be getting slower and less effective. I really like him but I wouldn't be sad to see him go and try reignite his career elsewhere. If both him and KG are off we're guaranteed to be getting new strikers in.

"S nowflake is a 2010s derogatory slang term for a person, implying that they have an inflated sense of uniqueness, an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or are overly-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions[/b]" Maybe it's not what you think, heh. Not the first time you've taken a firm judgement on something without being clued-up, is it. Chin up. As you were, back to the footy.

Whilst we have the option of another year it makes sense to get some money for him now as he's unlikely to be starting next season and his stock will only fall. Pritchard another one with only a year left on his deal. Either we try to turn him into a central midfielder (which it appears CC is attempting) and persuade him to sign a new deal in the next few months or we could sell him this summer or in January to avoid him leaving on a free.

Mounie is the most underrated player at this club without a shadow of a doubt. Remember the start of last season when everyone had put him in the 'couldn't give a shit camp' when he was benched and then he played and scored some crucial goals.
Remember crystal Palace away?? The club has failed him.
He is a player that is way way way better than what we have made him. A la Lolley

He was a player twice as good that we just didn't know how to get the best out of. That man has done NOTHING wrong. He gave his all and acored some great goals last season when people wrote him off. I hope he shines. Just a pity it won't be here.
