Some real tosspots on here, criticising a Town fan for trying to arrest the decline, getting rid of dead wood and negative influencers, recruiting one of the best rated assistant managers in the game.
To be honest I’d rather these nonces stopped watching Town altogether and stopped spreading their spite; they’re not real fans, they are just life’s perpetual whingers.

Feels like the next 3 months will be pivotal for Phil, if we are in the top 10 after some shrewd recruitment of loans and frees any doubts over him will evaporate. If we are at the bottom of the league with a load of unknown youngsters from abroad the knives will be out in force!
He’s made mistakes so far but this genuinely feels like a reset and a fresher start than we had last season, time will tell but the wheels need to start turning on this new journey very quickly. Staff confirmation, new kit and a signing in the next couple of weeks will be a great start

Staff confirmation, new kit and a signing in the next couple of weeks will be a great start It will take more than that for doubts to evaporate. Since he has come in, we have sold £25 million of players roughly, we have parachute payments, and we got rid of a lot of our bigger wage earners, and he told us he had the financial clout to own the club. So why do we seem to have no money and having to rely on loans and frees, and staying up by the skin of our teeth. Dont get me wrong, I never expected us to come down and spend 50 million on players, I really didnt. But I thought we would be able to at least compete for some Championship quality to replace the likes of Mooy. I thought we would have been able to start the season with a first choice right and left back. That is staggering. I also dont understand the whole thing about Phil having to pay for transfers out of his own pocket, what kind of restraints is he under? How can someone who says they have the money to own the club, be getting told they have to use their own money to pay for transfers. He owns the club ffs, he should be doing what he wants to do. What is actually going on at the football club?
