My mates who are Leeds fans rave about Carlos as they think he's primed for the job once Bielsa goes. He's got recommended by Pep and Bielsa often follows on his advice. Could be a belter.. but then again it is Town so we'd probably ruin him.

Fucking neither. If its Corberan thats it for me, I will also be taking the cheap option next season, just like Phil is doing, and listening to the games on the radio when im not playing golf. I dont know why I expected anything different, when you look at some of the cheap shite we have signed from league 2 and the conference. An U23 coach to sort this mess out, I would laugh if I wasnt so gutted.

Corberan has a long pedigree working under pellegrini. He’s been a head coach albeit in Cypriot league. He started coaching at 23. He was being earmarked for Bielsa’s long term replacement and this move will be a real bloody nose to our local rivals, as an added bonus. Possibly the most exciting managerial signing we’ve had.

The game has moved on and I don’t think the Cowleys dod enough to convince Phil they could make the step up from lower leagues. Wait and watch for the leeds reaction. We’ve not signed a nobody here- we’ve signed one of the most respected and well thought of no.2’s In European football. A guy rated by Pep & Klopp. I’m really exicited about seeing a new footballing culture which the players can all buy into. Young/ up and coming European players are much more affordable than their British counterparts so again this is a smart choice from Phil.

He’ll either be rubbish or a success and then go back to Leeds as manager.

All you have done since joining this forum is posting about Corberan and how amazing he is, what jobs he has turned down, what a great style he has, who he has worked under, how Leeds are going to be annoyed. Why dont u go and celebrate winning the title, instead of spending your time on here telling us how great a fucking U23 coach is. When we got promoted to the Prem I was still celebrating 3 days after promotion, pathetic wum.

The fella will be on a decent wage now he's a PL number 2, plus we'll be forking out compensation to Leeds and potentially to the Cowleys. Bear in mind this chap is moving from a newly promoted top-flight side that has strong ambitions - you don't do that unless you're fairly confident in the move you're making. You'd like to think he will be given reasonable backing to construct his team.

You could easily be talking about Siewert, Klopp talked him up I seem to remember. He might be a very good coach but is he a good manager?

I’ve just rejoined that’s all- not for the first time. Leeds fans wouldn’t be bigging up losing their deputy manager the day after promotion would they- especially not on a town forum. I was at Wembley in ‘95 Chris Billy winner, saw Lee Fowler’s pen at Cardiff -and thousands of great and god awful games in between. Favourite town player as a kid- iffy Onuora, as an adult Rockin Ronny, Peter Ndlovu, A Mooy, G Roberts before that assault on him by Leeds, Rhodesy, Kenny Irons- Shepherds boy shepley regular, Ian Bennet the Cat. This is a shrewd move from Phil. Give the appointment a chance

Well no, by all accounts he is first team coach - but call him what you like. Siewert joined us in the PL, so he was probably on a fair whack too. Thankfully the current ownership saw sense and got rid of him.

Tell me Wakka, or should I say Waccoe...do you have any Scandinavian friends who might be wanting tickets when we next play Leeds? No but at least I’m not trying to get home to New Zealand or whatever it was that scammer came on here a couple of years back. I was stupid enough to give £10 to that. He was vaguely convincing. I’ve hardly missed a game in about 15 years and been on forum nearly as long. It’s just the timing of my rejoin and the subject of Corberan that’s causing people to get suspicious. You can quiz me on anything Town or forum related. Teddy boy used to be Ted Chippington then Ted chips. I forget what he was before that but he’s rowed with captain slapped and the other Mail readers many a time. Do you feel a bit foolish yet?

Yes he’s unproven as a no.1 but he’s just had 2 seasons in the championship- completely different to Siewert who really was unproven. Also leeds fans are going mental on twitter and Facebook. They’re furious he’s left them for us assuming it’s confirmed later today or tomorrow.
