Let's hope the opposition do too then aslong as we have some strong defenders I really don’t see the issue. There’s more to winning a ball in the air than being taller than the opponent So we're doubly fucked then 🤨😁. Have you seen Hoggy and O'Brien regularly win headers against taller opposition 🤔

I’m happy for him, and I hope it works out. But I do think it’s a red flag when he’s saying he approached us about the move. I’d like to think we have a robust scouting process where we rigorously identify the right targets and go after them. If he fit the brief for what we need then we should be approaching him, unless it’s by sheer coincidence or maybe we thought he was out of reach (which would also be worrying) Just feels a bit opportunistic, but maybe that’s for the best. Perhaps the best signings come from pieces falling together. All he was doing was to let supporters know he wanted to come here, not just get away from Derby. It is not a 'red flag'. Sometimes you get results from doing due diligence and sometimes opportunity just knocks at your door.

I remain unconvinced but I've just listened to his interview and he seems pleased to be back and enthusiastic, he gets a fair crack of the whip. Come on Diddy Duane Duane don't let us down.

Didn't even know he'd signed until a few minutes ago when looking at the Bristol match thread. This separate area for signings is absolutely fucking gash

It’s sounding like this is a free transfer (with add ons). When you look at our signings it’s obvious Phil has to pay for new players himself.
At some point we are going to have to actually pay for a player.

Neither QPR player has jumped for the ball 🤔 Maybe not but it shows you what high he can get from a standing jump!

We’ll see how lightweight we are tomorrow night when Bristol City have a bench full of 6ft plus players , like they did the other week at our place.

He’ll be a great addition and I wish him well.

At some point we are going to have to actually pay for a player. Agreed and it begs the question why he took over in the first place if he hasn’t the wealth to make us competitive. Doing it 100% on the cheap can’t be done, we have to spend some money down the line

Bullock had some springs. Tbf him and Tommy were the little blokes in a bloody big side. Tomorrow we'll have Nabby, Keogh and the keeper over 6'

Doing it 100% on the cheap can’t be done, we have to spend some money down the line I think, reading other social media, that it's pretty obvious that we have no money. Phil H is not spending any, not because he's trying to annoy us, but because of the way the club was run before he "bought" it there is no money. In my opinion we are not storing money up for a big spending spree next season we just don't have it. Covid has obviously made things worse but the "clusterfuck" that Maynard Blue mentioned is the reason why are in a mess. I'm not a massive PH fan - he doesn't have the spiel or smooth talking that Mr Hoyle had - but I think he's doing what is unfortunately necessary.
