13000 season cards amounts to about £3m. By the time the club have put that towards the costs of simply continuing to function ( pay wages, bills, expenses, etc etc etc ) , how much do you think they'll have sloshing about to 'respond' with? They will have received the thick end of £100m from Sky since relegation by the end of this season, plus around £50m in sales made since then. We had a wages to turnover ratio of less than 60% in 19/20, which was the second lowest in the league. All I’m hoping for is some investment given we were told last season’s high wages were handicapping us. Feel free to cup Phil’s balls all you want, but I’m guessing most people renewing are hoping for a different season this time around. And if not, they will be vocal. Parachute payments have been reduced plus you've excluded debt payments - oh and reduced revenues and increased costs due to covid - have look at Championship transfers to date - mostly loans and frees - its not moisturising anyones genital's fella - its the new cold reality of sustainability and transfer embargoes - currently 3 in the Championship if you overspend....

Less than 13000. That’s crap for a city the size of Bradford and £50 less than Towns. 😂

£198 goes a long way in Bradford. You could be thousands of miles away from the place spending that kind of money.

Wonder if they include those flexi tickets that they do in that count too.

So what you're saying is that we're going yo eon promotion then as no other club has signed anyone? I'm off down to the bookies to back us with my 100 relegation money for promotion.

Got to remember Bradford have been poor for some time, they`re an established lower division side, i think shifting 13,000 season tickets is a good effort.

Any side in the basement division would be glad of that amount of tickets sold. They could become the best supported club in non league in a years time.

"we have around 80 legacy Season Card holders in the Fantastic Media Stand Lower Tier. I’ve tasked our Ticket Office with contacting those supporters to see if they would like to move to a different stand, for no extra cost. I want to ensure that every one of you gets the best possible experience from your match day and I believe every other stand offers improvements in terms of being covered, having a covered concourse and improved catering facilities. We’re likely to contact you in the coming days to discuss your options if we haven’t already."
Intriguing. Maybe FM Lower WILL be shut?
(or is this just to open it up totally to pay on the day?)

Just shy of 15,000. Incredible What is the source of this figure? Just wasted time trying to find it & then seen Maynard's post suggesting it is too high. Chairman just stated 12500 and counting get to thirteen thousand and that will be a good do owt above a bonus

Just saw that it was an area where season tickets aren't being sold (although I don't think they have been for last few seasons, but some people had retained the ability to renew in there)

Given how low attendances will be it seems pointless to open the Fantastic Media lower and incur all the associated cost - completely agree with that
I don’t know why the club don’t just say that rather than suggesting the tickets holders who chose seats there are incapable of making their own decision as to where they want to sit & what is good for them - bit patronising! What are we going to do if they would not like to move?

I'm not sure why plenty seem so convinced it'll be closed, he does say..."to see IF they would like to move". I can think of a billion reasons why they'd desire it to be exclusively pay on the day seats in that area. Well, not a billion, but at least 4 or 5.

Just shy of 15,000. Incredible What is the source of this figure? Just wasted time trying to find it & then seen Maynard's post suggesting it is too high. A prediction of total sales by the start of the season. Won't be too far out. Incredible support given the last three seasons. Have Town fans found a new hobby or have they missed their live footy?

Looks abit naff on TV seeing the FM lower closed up and empty but see the reasoning behind it.

We have 'delved' have a look at Championship clubs transfer activity so far - mostly frees and loans and hey fella clubs actually pay players wages - most Championship clubs have larger wage bills than current revenues but not Town but let's just splurge recent acquired revenues on vast transfer fees just to keep you happy? We've signed a load of league one players pal, take yourself down the bookies and put 100 notes on us to get relegated. You fill the team with league one players, where you gonna end up? And its not a trick question. Congratulations. You’re the most miserable person I’ve come across in my entire life.

Out of all the 6 stands the North stand lower is the most obvious and easiest one to shut.
