We should cut out all the hassle and paperwork involved in signing players and just bundle up big chunks of money and throw it in the Colne.

Bumped into him, nice kid, moved away from home, give him a full pre season next season let’s hope it works out from both parties. Can’t be easy mid pandemic leaving home. Curious to know, how did you know it was him? Coz if I bumped into 90% of Town players I’d just say sorry mate and move on.

Did I hear Koroma was back training with the 1st team squad? He's been a huge miss since his injury. In the 16 games he played we picked up 23 points. In the 23 games since his injury we've picked up 20 points. I know other injuries have played a big part in the drop in points but Koroma has been the biggest loss imo.

When Niasse comes back from injury it'll be like signing a new player. Oh, hang on...😉

Your being optimistic saying when. Season might well be gone before he is fit. I have no idea how we get so many injuries. Seems also when someone is crocked it goes on for months. Maybe we should invest in some studs so they stop falling over, but then again Campbell would not be the player he is if he stayed on his feet.

He was suspended for three matches, then when we expected him to return he was suddenly out for three months. Unbelievable how many injuries are not related to match day and how long they are out for. No one is ever just out for the odd game. its always weeks and weeks.

Out for 8 weeks so we won't get the chance to see him playing for us unless they offer him a deal for next season

I feel more sorry for the guy himself than for us.
Football is his career. He's been without a club for ages, we offer him a way back into the game and then injury stops him playing..
Out of contract at the end of the season again and without a club. Career back on hold. Poor guy

Means we stuck paying him for 8 weeks, unless they cancel his contract Whilst paying him for 8 weeks even though he won't play ain't great, it won't put us into Administration will it. The lad won't have played for a full season and only played about 3 games the season before. So near enough 2 seasons without playing Unless we offer him a contract for next season, he'll once again go into the summer without a club and his chances of getting one diminished. As I say, football is his career and this was an opportunity for him to kick start it again. He's lost that opportunity

Hope we take him back on trial again in the summer and offer him a view to resigning, we wanted him before no reason we don't again.
Feel for the lad.

This season has been absolute joke where signings has been concerned. Ward, Arrons, Niasse, Grant all signed and injured.

There needs to be a complete review of why there have been so many lengthy injuries. Something isn’t right, it can’t all be down to bad luck.

Schindler, Koroma and Niasse for starters were awkward falls (or someone falling on them)... so certainly they’re nothing to do with training methods or over training.

If you think the injury to Niasse, caused by a player going through him as he went down, opening him up and overstretching beyond his natural extension, is anything other than coincidental, then we need to call in an exorcist.

If it was Danny Ward that fell on him I'll be surprised if he'll play again

Been watching football and Town for a very long time and I’ve never seen a season of injuries like this one. It’s just amazing - not just the amount we’ve had but the recovery time needed as well.

I appreciate some injuries clearly were unfortunate and happened in matches, that happens to every club. What isn’t in doubt though is that several lengthy injuries didn’t happen in games, but it seems some posters don’t think there could be anything wrong, or think that a review might be justified.

It’s undoubtedly connected to stress on their bodies in training. We are in a world where data compiled from players monitors is the be all and end all of everything. More emphasis placed on training than the actual games !

Koroma went off/injured himself after trying a ‘rabona’ if I remember correctly, which hopefully he’ll have learned to not bother doing in future
