Hoyle sucked parachute payment money out of the club when surely knowing it was vital for rebuilding . Thats the main reason we have a pile of shite Not just that, but continued to take his money back, even after the pandemic hit when the club's income was hit massively, both from ticket sales but also because the parachute money was cut. Many people have suffered financially from the pandemic but others have benefitted from it. Seems Hoyle didn't want to be in the former category - as long as he gets his money back he doesn't seem to care what happens to his football club. Fair points. Hadn't considered that before.

Just seen this. Why is he not reacting when he knows we are throwing leads away every game?

5 of the last 6 teams relegated into the championship are competing for promotion this year, the odd one out...
*Scratch that 4/6 the 5th one actually went straight back up

Fine with Hoyle taking his money back Anyone on here would have done the same - especially given his situation But he can’t then expect to be remembered as a saint - he chose himself over the fans and in doing so ruined his reputation His choice He's not a sinner for taking back his money over a prolonged period. His reputation should be based on where he took the club and the ride we all went on. But hey ho, you can't educate pork...not necessarily yourself But you can't claim the deal that was done is in the best interest of the club though. That is the issue, Phil was a poor choice if he couldn't afford to pay Hoyle back with his own money. The parachute payments should have gone towards funding the wages of these terrible signings and still allowed us to keep a strong squad. Using them to to reduce the money owed to Hoyle is harming us on the pitch.

22 points now dropped from winning positions? Wonder what the record is for a season. Sorry to be pedantic but it's 23 points dropped from winning positions. Unbelievable. 😫👎 Yes it is 23 and that is from only 30 games. Not too far short of a point a game. A staggering statistic really and one that says so much about what is wrong with this Town squad.

Has Parkinson and Hoyle between them any idea of the what problems they have caused the club Where did it all go wrong Why the fuck are you blaming Parkinson? It must be nearly 20 years ago.

We'd started really well and taken the lead as we have on so many occasions this season, but the subsequent collapse was so depressingly foreseeable. I shouldn't be thinking that way, but it's happened so many times this season it's hard not to.

Worst thing about tonight for me is i cannot see how we can improve for the next match especially as far to many players showing poor form and nobody better to replace them.
Phil Hodgkinson must be a very worried man tonight as surely about to see his dreams and his investment go down the pan.
Need some luck from somewhere and fast

All he's done is taken the parachute payments and shifted them to Dean Hoyle

What are we going to do lads? We are going down, aren’t we? It will take a mammoth effort to turn this around and there is far too much negativity surrounding our club. I cannot think of any positives at the moment.

“Kieran is in my thoughts if we want to play with two strikers.”
Why the fuck is Campbell, one of if not the worst players on the pitch, seemingly undroppable? Carlos really baffling me with this one, starting to doubt him a little.

Compare our squad with Boro's, I know they are a bigger club than us but that is what a solid Championship squad looks like. I thought after our bright start there would be no collapse but alas, it was inevitable as it was depressing.

Any future club debt falls on Hodgkinson and thats where the club could be heading if not a pot to piss in

Score, sit back and try and soak up pressure. Except we're shit at defending so it never works.

Birmingham, Rotherham, Coventry. We need 2 of these 3 to be shit. QPR are the worst team I've seen after us. Although they are above us they could drop. Clutching at straws though.

Honestly thought at ht we were going to get hammered. I know it's fine margins but if we can play without fear then a few instances of the ball bouncing in our favour please, then we can soon climb the table. Panicking will not do us any favours.Keep the faith, I feel we can do it now. I hope so but to be honest when they scored the penalty I turned SKY off and went and played on line scrabble I really am at a low point in watching Town and I think not watching and going to the games has definitely dulled my appetite not just for Town but the game in general.

Town will rise again and soon keep the faith. I've noticed that all the board supporters are gearing us up for relegation. Is that PH's master plan?

They were poor however they did something about it and went and loaned a proven striker in Charlie Austin who is doing the business for them

All those clubs have ambition. Sadly we dont. When we are relegated there will be no statements about getting straight back up it will all be about consolidating
