Would Town have been interested in Potts, Sinclair and Evans when they were available? The answer is 'I don't think so' because they wouldn't be the type of player that Town are after (whatever that is). But I'd prefer any of them over Bacuna - at least they put in 100% effort rather than strolling about as though he hasn't a care in the world. I can't agree with those who suggest that Holmes isn't good enough for the Championship. He is if he's played in his best position. I was surprised when he was taken off today - and if Scott High is the answer to our problems, I despair. It looks to me that Corberan signed an agreement with Hodgkinson, Bromby and Schofield, promising to play youngsters from the Academy as much as possible, and therefore his hands are tied. And who was the idiot who pulled the plug on the Walsall lad's transfer at the last minute - looks like we're being run by a set of incompetent muppets. The fans have a right to know who this dullard is.

Well beaten by a team that is not good enough for the Champs themselves. Dare not look. My guess is two shots on target? About what we have averaged for 4 years. They are 13th. The previous five seasons they've finished 11th, 11th 7th, 14th & 9th. I know you're never f*****g wrong about anything and I'm the stupid one for attempting to debate with you.... ...... BUT.............. ........ what PRECISELY given the above draws you to the conclusion they're not good enough for the Champioship? Those statistics more than suggest they are to me. PS We had seven shots on target. 2 single goals wins in 12 matches....against Brum and Blackburn. Preston are shit....we are worse. Did we really have 7 on target? I recall 2.

What makes the last 2 defeats even worse is that Derby and Preston are shite.

As I see it a football club and a airport are both businesses that have to be sustainable going forward in whatever financial circumstances they find themselves. This comparison could have wings. This one does -

Picking on individuals? I didn't. If you look back I picked on 6 of them. When did 6 individuals stop being individuals? When they add up to half our team. That's the point I was making. That half the team is just not good enough. I then went on to list who I thought wasn't good enough. That's all. As for not criticising individual players, that would be a pretty dull forum wouldn't it?

Win as a team, lose as a team. If Holmes was good enough against Swansea then he is good enough. We are failing as a team. So everyone, coaches included, have some responsibility in that.

Might see you next season at this rate. No, you won't get promoted. It’s probably more likely we’ll get promoted than you’ll get relegated but yeah, it’s unlikely we’ll be in the same division.

They’ve done very well tbf. No reason we can’t get in the top 7/3 now.
I don’t have much faith in Town but I don’t see three teams below you putting any kind of run together. Plus you may have some more Swansea results in you.

But having signed Ward, Keogh and Holmes it’s quite apparent we don’t have a strategy at all, total scattergun approach.

Anyone know if the new goalkeeper is injured as he wasn't on the bench today ? The new chap & the other chap seem to be rotating the number two duties for some bizarre reason.

Omg, I seriously thought the new keeper would be good enough to come straight into the first team as soon as Schofield made his next mistake. If he can't relegate Pereira to the B Team for good then he must be shit too. Where do we find these players.

Waste of signings of both if they are not considered good enough to replace Schofield. No actual disrespect but he is definitely a " Rookie" and needs experience elsewhere .IMO

Powder puff shot from Bacuna, was one of them, such a shame, cos he's sooooooooooooooo good! He's a legend in his own brain, strolls around the pitch like he's Lionel Messi! He's a bench player, at best!

Hi. We may have lost as many games as you have won in the last two or three months, one. The Championship is a poor league once again this season but still significantly better than Lg 2 where most of the teams are little more than pub teams.

Annoying how Sarr managed to deflect two of their shots into the goals but was unable to deflect one of ours...the guy could have had a hat trick..

Hogg, Eiting, Koroma, Grant, Ward, Aarons, Schindler, Toffolo. 8 players who may have started. Take 8 starting players out of any team outside Premier League and see how they do for 10 games. Yes it’s shit at the moment. We may go down. The manager has to take some responsibility for results. The chairman has to take some responsibility for the squad as a whole. You can’t go in to a season with a back up, of equal quality, for every position. It’s just not financially viable. It’s not an excuse. It’s just facts.
