Is it safe to assume he's staying for the forseeable future? Certainly looking like the Leeds bid has stalled.

Leeds about to pay £30m for Dan James apparently. It seems money wasn’t an issue, they just didn’t think LoB was worth our asking price.
Hopefully that motivates him and he has a great season with us.

Nice of them to help United out by paying Ronaldos transfer fee and covering 10 weeks of his wages for them, all for one of their rejects

My nan can strike a ball better than him and she hasn't walked for 5 years

Mentioned on here years ago that we should have got Raphinha when he was at Vitoria…. Instead we got Mbenza and Diakhaby while Raphinha went to Sporting for €6.5m.

Think Man U have had their pants down once again if £30m is to be believed.

A Man Utd supporting pal tells me the Dan James sale for £25m is the best bit of business they've done in years.

We also looked at Benrahma before he went to Brentford 🤦🏻♂️ sigh 🤦♂️ We can’t buy them all, but when you look at what we bought, it’s crazy. But, at the same time, would Benrahma have looked as good,or have developed as well, playing in a team which never committed bodies forwards and often isolated attacking players, preferring their defensive work over any attacking tendency? I doubt it. Signing as an attack-minded midfielder or winger in our PL days was, with hindsight, career suicide. Tom Ince never recovered, Pritchard, Sobhi, Mbenza, Sabiri and Diakhaby all came with promise and disappeared with very few positive memories in the bank.

Ince had already failed in the PL. We gave him another chance, he was shooting and nothing was going in. Hit the woodwork a number of times. If something went in early then maybe he goes on a run. Sobhi wasn’t good enough for Stoke. Pritchard lost confidence because it’s not easy in the PL. Mbenza had a falling out with a previous manager. Sabiri got injured when his chance came. Diakhaby, well can’t change a blokes first touch that goes out for a goal kick from the halfway line. We didn’t kill Grants career, in fact his time at Huddersfield was the highlight.

Leeds sell their prized assets to Man U, but history says the players going in opposite direction are the cast offs. Think Man U have had their pants down once again if £30m is to be believed. Gordon Strachan was not a bad cast off SD Agreed, but he was, at 32, and dropping a division, still a cast off, albeit one who then helped his new club pip his old club to the last league title before football began.

Don't wholly disagree with you. Ince did need an early goal to go in but Benrahma the would have done so too. There was nothing to suggest that he would have been better equipped for the PL at that time than any of those others that we signed.

Limited player, but can see him being a bit like RVLP was in our champ team. Most united match going fans i know think he's been a decent squad player, just not good enough for man utd. so will be happy with making a profit on a squad player £25m is not that crazy when you look at the other deals going on. he's played nearly 50 games for man utd and 25 internationals at 23..he cant be that bad

Hopefully that motivates him and he has a great season with us. that's an astounding fee. He's got good positional sense in terms of how to use his speed, and knows he's not really good at much else, so is a decently useful bench option, but 30 million?! Real Seth Johnson moment

True, think the difference is that Brentford paid €1.7m for him 😱 I’m not sure of his mentality, but he doesn’t come across as a trouble maker but seems very tenacious.

Must be off to Leeds as he knows there is no chance a world class player will be competing for his spot there.
