I haven't given an opinion on Cummings evidence, you just lost the plot. The Cummins evidence totally destroys the notion re us being the 2nd best prepared covid country in the world. Sensible people told you that 14 months ago and you just swore at us all . I wasn't going to mention it till you started goading everyone.. you found this Billing "evidential fact " yet ? The comparisons were different, the study was pre covid analysing what was envisaged then as good pandemic preparations, Cummings comments were post pandemic & specific to the knowledge of covid & with the benefits of hindsight. If you think I'm going to spend time to look up facts for the satisfaction of proving you wrong you are very mistaken. As someone pointed out & I referred to above, selective memory syndrome!

In precise detail, please spell out the people who made a difference between the season Powell started in the championship and the season Wagner did. You've got to welcome such an opportunity to set the record straight? I've noted that you've replied to this thread, but still ignored my post. I'll make it easy for you. And why was that? Do you think it was down to Wagner, or do you think it was down to the fans getting a foothold in the South Stand, and the effort that went in to generating that atmosphere around the ground. Do you know David Wagner asked the NSL to re-locate to the FM lower for the games against the teams that would bring large away followings in the season we were promoted to the Premier League? The NSL refused of course. Maybe that was the fine line between getting to the play offs or missing out? I'm not saying it was, but it would have definitely been a factor. Michael Hefele's 89th winner was fucking dream. Infront of 2000 Leeds fans instead of 4000..... Sounds like DW just wanted the fans to see the Hef’s winner from behind the goal it went in, not 100yds away. The guy was a visionary. But yeah, banner makers did as much as Wagner. Cheapest of cheap shots. Scoffa will be turning in his grave. Shame on you

Let’s remind ourselves Years of dross football - manager after manager averaging less than 1.2 points a game He turned up and within 2 weeks completely changed how we played football - our 0-2 defeat versus Boro at home was one of the few defeats I’ll be pleased about. He achieved more in those 2 week than our current coach has in 12 months 16/17 We were favourites to go down He created a team far superior than the sum of its parts - a structure everyone knew and understood, plan A high press, plan B low block etc When we had a set back we came back We were sluggish end of season and came back in the play offs a refreshed team We won 23 out of 24 games by 1 goal We got promoted with a negative goal difference This was a man getting the absolutely most out of those players and the team - that team’s mentality was elite Premier league season We were favourites to go down - he kept us up Half the money we spent that year secured/replaced loan players from previous season We beat Man United at home We stayed up by securing draws at champions Man City and Chelsea It was imo a better achievement than getting promoted Following season We all have our opinion on that - But after 13 games we were 14th. That in itself was a miracle. Then we played Brighton, lost Mooy etc The OP poster seems to change the title of this every day - some sort of obsession with trying to point blame to Wagner Wagner’s only fault was getting us promoted and achieving the second miracle of keeping us up - some on here and the club believed the extraordinary was the ordinary! I agree with everything except the last two paragraphs, as DW, IMO, had other faults. He leveraged his position by being interested in other clubs. He lost part of the dressing room 2nd prem season, not entirely his fault though as some of the players had questionable attitudes. He approved player purchases that were expensive & poor. He didn't acquire a credible 10 or effective wingers that were essential for plan A, not entirely his fault as availability, funds, recruitment team & other reasonable principles had a bearing. He lost focus, determination and the will to see it threw when adversity overwhelmed him. I don't see the OP trying blame DW, I see him trying add some perspective to the constant blaming of almost everyone but DW. DW never lost the dressing room or any part of it. That's made up nonsense. There were players he had a few difficult conversations with, but he never ever lost any part of the dressing room. Not even 1 player. That's not my opinion, that's fact based on many conversations I've had over the last few years with a number of lads that were in the dressing room when he was manager. Some still there
