Hardly fills you with confidence when Luton fans talk about him being ok as back up if he stayed as they have better at the club already. Hopefully just sour grapes Bit odd they would think they have better at the club when he has played 40 of 46 championship games this season starting 34 of them.Quite possibly the sour grapes.

Not seen much of him. But seems solid. We have potentially lost 4 centre halfβs from the squad. Itβs like some folk expect us to be signing Harry maguire Hope this lads better than Slabhead

I think looks a decent signing on the face of it.Played nearly all their promotion season and almost ever present the two since came up.By few bits Iv seen plenty Luton fans say has improved over last couple years both positionally, decision making wise and also on the ball.I donβt think Carlos is asking the centre halves to be messi when have the ball but just to be comfortable having it and make the right decisions when they do. Think can be fairly certain he will be solid defensively and I would half expect another centre half to come in to start alongside to be honest, sarr not to play as many games,heβs decent sarr but itβs the decision making that letβs him down and ultimately puts his other centre half in bother too. Chips in with a few goals does Pearson also by the looks.Happy enough with the signing in a key area this summer. Just to add to this another starting centre half for me would have to have a fair amount of pace to complement a Pearson type.I know we have reg just feel would still need another season been rotated in and out of the side. Get anothe CB in and play Naby as CF, he can finish

Iβd argue heβs been their stand-out defensive player. Has always seemed that way to me whenever Iβve watched them, and a quick look at whoscored suggests that heβs been their 5th best player overall this season (3rd best of those that have played over 20 games), and has the joint highest number of MOM awards (4).

He's a stopper.. we dont need every centre back to be a silky ball carrier who can spray passes about. We need aggression just as much as anything in this squad. Vallejo could be very useful next seasonGood business done already. on to the next This, 100% I'd sooner have our CBs comfortable on the ball enough to play it into midfield safely, and then let Vallejo and the new Brazilian superstar to start the creative stuff.

Story you've linked says, "Pearson, like Rarmani Edmonds-Green, has played as a defensive right-back on occasions but would be signed as a centre-back." One of you & Mr Hartrick is wrong. I got that from Wikipedia. But looking on FM 21, suggests he's right sided and can play right back. Eitehr way, looks like someone who could be deployed as back up to either first choice fullback, which we know we need. "Pearson made his Barnsley debut, where he started the whole game, in a 4β3 win over Morecambe on 8 August 2017.[50] Seven days later on 15 August 2017, he scored his first goal for Barnsley in a 2β1 win against Nottingham Forest.[51] Since then, Pearson found himself in and out of the first team, due to strong competitions and played in the left-back position as a result.[52] This also combined with his own injury concern.[53]" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matty_PearsonWould hope for him to be right sided. Gives us more options at the back, as only REG there at the minute - vs NS & RC vying for the left sided berth. Also, with some height the reliance on NS might not be so great & Crichlow might get more game time.

Would be a good signing this. Would say he has been one of the better centre halfs in the division this season.

Mambo? Angela, Pamela, Sandra, Matty Pearson and Rita? A little bit of Pearson at the back, To try and stop Carlos getting the sack, A little bit of Jordan at number 9 A few quality signings and we'll be fine A little bit of Big Phil in that shirt, If it wasn't for NDAs he'd dish the dirt Premier League riches, down the pan. A little bit of patience makes me a fan.

Also part of a team that finished 12th as a starting centre back. I think he would be a very good signing and the type of player we need when rebuilding. I believe he plays as a right centre back so would be a good fit. I would be tempted to bring in a left centre back as well as I'm not fully convinced by Sarr.

Sounds like a good signing to me. Championship quality, not too old, had a decent season last year, a bit of versatility. Shouldn't be too bad wage wise too. Get him signed!

One of those players where it wouldn't be an exciting signing but it would be a solid one. Decent player and probably better than the shite we've currently got at the back
