Came over really well in the interview we saw. Looks a straight forward down to earth guy who wants and enjoys playing football. Whether he came to us as he wanted to move back north, saw us as a bigger club or we offerred him more money doesn't really matter. We have been crying out for us to sign an experienced solid defender and that what appears to have happened so I would say well done to the club.

CB is the easiest position to play there is, To be effective you just hack, chop, kick, headbut, elbow or simply smack 'em.....Just like a normal Friday night in Holmfirth... ? Agree though about holmfirth got worse which is a shame because it is a good town tbh it's shaken off 'most' of it's yob culture...Covid helped to quieten the place plus the nouveau riche and myriad of foreign restaurants, wine bars etc... think more of Fulham Road, Chelsea with Holmbridge being more Ladbroke Grove, Notting Hill and you're not far orf..

Don't know if this has been posted elsewhere but just watched the new training video on YT. Pearson is very vocal for someone thats only just arrived at a new club. Watching games on iFollow last season really did highlight the lack of communication we have on the pitch. Hopefully this guy brings some much needed leadership to the libraryesque culture we seem to have had in the last 3 yrs

Any news on the injury? Cramp or pull? Hopefully the former but i doubt it. Been an excellent acquisition - no nonsense, committed defender who clearly enjoys playing for us. Will be missed if unavailable wed.

I thought they said after the game that he was ill. Might be something running through the squad as Mipo is ill too

Will be missed if unavailable wed. If he's unavailable we still have Colwill, Sarr & Lees as the back 3. And against Birmingham whose strength is in the air, Sarr might well be the best option for that central role anyway. This is where squad depth is so important. It's a welcome improvement.
