If otiums views were bad enough to get an instant ban then, they should have got an instant ban, they decided they were worth yellow cards and then a Totting up process got him to a lifetime ban.

I may have been harsher earlier a season ban, but ultimately 6 yellows for what was deemed as proportionate.... and that didn't work. Problem is the admin and moderation, it should never reach that stage.... im for you, not my friends. I basically don't consider anyone I've never met on an a Internet forum a friend.... neither do I have some sort of vendetta to get anyone banned. In my DATM world everyone behaves and it becomes the no.1 fan forum in the UK.

I supported Oti at the start, but reading all of it properly and how it's worded, it doesnt wash. You can't paper over something and make it seem not serious. We live in 2021 not 1981. He likely didn't mean offence, but how he says things are very past era, adapt or get left behind

It's not harmless though, my time is valuable, my sanity is important to me, my family, staff & patients. I nievly come on here for genuine information & reflection of all things Town. I have to wade through swathes of absolute bolloxs to get to a genuine snippet of something I did not know or considered. It takes time, it could easily be having an adverse psychological effect because of my peculiar characteristics, it certainly annoys my partner & could contribute to a relationship breakup, harmless it certainly isn't! There is one standout candidate that types bullshit, but he isn't the only one, we all know who they are, and perhaps a rule change to get them to join Otium (if they don't desist) would be the best result of this whole affair?

Honestly bud, if you want sanity, online these days is not the place for it. The amount of lies spread regarding stories etc, it's worse than the old Chinese whispers. Take it all with a pinch of salt. I've figured out who to listen to on town news and who not. Every day stuff, I cast my own judgement and nobody else's, especially on here or anywhere else online

Nope... I broke levi first. I knew about Russell about 20 mins before but was on building site, if I hear anything I'll post it, but if your suggesting I can name signings whilst they are a 1-3 for each position on a white board and may never happen on a board then no. What's the point. I've a 1 in 33 chance if one even happens. I've learnt my lesson with Adam le fondre... who was on the list, confirmed by deano, got close but never happened.

I wasn't an ADMIN... so your saying he should have been banned earlier. The current ADMIN let him accumulate 6 yellows before giving him the Bullet. He should have had a season ban earlier. I'm all for that. It's a tightening of rule breakers I'm championing, whilst allowing free speech.

I didn't say I wouldn't have given him a season ban... in essence a season ban is equivalent to a life ban for someone with limited life expectancy. For someone like Nick it would have been appropriate and proportionate.... yes indeed, goodnight and the campaign restarts at 7am. Godbless.
