I think that was a very good run out, we looked fit & we worked as a team & the 2nd goal with 5 mins to go was against the run of play.
I'd like to swap Rhodes in for Ward & Thomas in for Holmes, other wise keep the same team for Tuesday, as we looked a lot more dangerous 2nd half & created 2 or 3 good chances.
The defence looks a lot more solid but we are lacking in creativity & a real goal threat, though you have to look at the fact we have just played last year's champions.

Played pretty well in the main against far better opposition.
They we're clinical in the final third, we were limp there.
Good workout for the lads but some extra creativity definitely needed.
Really like the look of Diarra, if we manage to keep hold of him I think he's got a big future at the club.

Need a proper striker, one with goals that will cost some money. Apart from that, I'd say we looked very good in alot of parts. Colwill is some player and Nicholls has to be number 1

In the small amount I watched, we appeared to be knocking it around well but didn't have an end product... in fact we didn't have a shot on target when I watched, despite looking very tidy.

A friendly a lot to be pleased about good work rate some good individual performances because won't be playing against many in championship as good as Norwich not bothered about result a good game to watch

Diarra looks like he can be a real player, he certainly wasn't overawed playing against Premier league players.

Ruffels came on in midfield yes.it’s his original position,Oxford converted him to a left back over the last few years.guessing got him on mainly to get minutes in legs but fact it’s a position natural to him doesn’t throw everything else into disarray too

Colwill class. thomas, diarra promising. Think pearson will be a very good signing
I’d wonder how thomas could do down the middle

I'm a little surprised that the management team haven't given Koroma a go as an out and out striker. He has the pace and can score. He can't be any worse than what we've got.

In essence no different from a lot of last season. Decent approach play but no quality where it counts. How can such a clear deficiency be left unaddressed year after year? It’s expensive to address so we can’t. Although a loan must be worth a gamble.

Get him toughened up here and a good season, either Chelsea will play him or someone comes in. He's way ahead of his age mentally. His distribution is brilliant, that of a midfielder

He's a nick for getting in behind, he's pace to burn a can finish. He's wasted at times on the wing. Even a now and then long ball in behind, hes the pace to get to it and finish.

It’s expensive to address so we can’t. Although a loan must be worth a gamble. This. Every club wants a 15-20 goals a season striker and there are only a few who can do it in the Championship. Unfortunately supply and demand makes it very hard for Town to afford one, especially at the moment.

Might be a strength thing - from what I can remember of last season, he seemed to be given a job to lurk outside the box even at corners (when he isn't taking them) - which is not the sign of someone who would be 'trusted' up the middle where you get a regular battering.

Made a point of letting him know after the game which he acknowledged with a thumbs up 👍

Not bothered about the result. Pleased with the fitness and work rate. Colwill and Diarra look good, and Scott High had a goo game too. Concerned about the striker situation as ever but in general a decent afternoon.

Hoping Rhodes can discover some form similar to February onwards last season where, minutes wise, he averaged around 1 in 2 when Darren Moore got hold of him.

Campbell got 7 last season so you would like to hope Rhodes even if he isn’t quite what he used to be,would get at least 4/5 more than that? Although football never seems to work logically does it.

Yeah he bagged the same amount of goals in half the amount of minutes last season although it was for a different team/manager. Hoping Corberan can get a song out of him.
