Wow.
For anyone interested in the history of the club this is a superb collection. I’ll spend many a spare hour looking through this.

Just been watching goals of the seasons 89/90, strange what you forget and what you remember.

Whoever has overseen and driven this forward take a bow.....amidst the mess of the last couple of years on the pitch, this is a shining beacon of brilliance.

HTSA have had some stick over the years but the funds they held have been put to good use.
Congratulations all concerned.

As you can see, now pinned to the top of the board so we don't let it slip away.

As someone who has always kept a record of every game I’ve been no see, and has match reports for every Town game I attended between 1965 and leaving Leeds Road, as well as all the programmes, I can appreciate the effort that has gone into this collection. It’s a shame it doesn’t contain the match reports from the Examiner for every game as that would truly have made it an unbeatable record. I’m sure I’ll spend a lot of time looking at this occasionally.

If you've got these maybe the project could get in touch with you Epsom.?

If you've got these maybe the project could get in touch with you Epsom.? It’s only of the Town games I attended, not every game Town played, but I’m OK to send HTSA electronic copies of the reports (MT also has them on his site).

Excellent Bob McNab interview. htafc-heritage.com/posts/24...although a slight issue with his 1970 WC memories - Terry Neill?!! Terry Cooper possibly...

Excellent Bob McNab interview. htafc-heritage.com/posts/24...although a slight issue with his 1970 WC memories - Terry Neill?!! Terry Cooper possibly... Definitely Cooper - heard it from him personally. He said that Cooper was undoubtedly a better player than him but he was fitter by a mile (he was well in to his 70s at the time and still in superb condition). He lost out to another full back and didn’t make the squad, per the article. Met him a few times, here and in California, through a mutual friend and his stories are endless and very entertaining.

Wow... absolutely wow, wow, wow ! This is pure magic and magnificent for someone like myself. Thankyou MT for putting it up and a massive thanks also to those who have saved and collated the whole thing and put it together... pour yourselves a finest Scottish malt whisky to savour as that’s what I’ll be doing, all being well, in front of an open fire in the winter and enjoying the pleasure of all that reading previously unseen and unread material about Huddersfield Town. I’ve quite a few books about Town and enjoy a read at random times and I’ve around 250 programmes that I like to take 3 or 4 to some of the local beauty spots and enjoy, along with the birds and the tides after a bit of fishing, but this is something else. Today, I looked at the first season, seeing pics from The John M Ward section of The grandstand being built, also The Dalton Bank, The old Cowshed, The Canker Lane Pavilion, £400 paid to The Dandy Dons (Aberdeen) for Sandy Mutch.. oh my, oh my, all this new stuff to view and read... and also some new videos ! Huddersfield Town and their fans have a pride and love of the history of Town like few other clubs and few other supporters possess... Thanks again to all who have contributed to this opus of beauty about Huddersfield Town and I’m looking forward to reading every item over at a good open fire with a dram of whisky or three plus over the winter (which can sometimes be very harsh in The West Island) !

I would like to add my thanks to the folk who have done the hard work of creating this wonderful collection. I now foresee many wasted (happy) hours spent browsing the information contained in the site in the coming winter months - with or without a "wee dram" to accompany the exercise. Thanks once again. HTSA have had some stick over the years but the funds they held have been put to good use. Congratulations all concerned. Correct there is so much that is good about our club both with the foundation the heritage and other things we contribute too some need to realise what a great history this club has instead of always bloody moaning

I emailed HTSA to offer them the match reports but haven’t had a reply from them as yet. They’re mainly from the Examiner and the old, much-missed Yorkshire Sports (pink ‘un).

I'm glad my programme collection was included on the heritage website. There are many more not yet on. It's a work in progress. Hope you all enjoy the read.

Hello all. Many thanks for your feedback. The website and project are both in the early stages, so we’ll be adding a lot more content in the coming months and years, including more recent, and potentially post-1950s away, programmes. Feel free to email heritage[at]htsa-web.com if you have any questions, comments, or ideas. We’d also be grateful if as many people as possible vote to fill the website’s Hall of Fame. Is there going to be any more of John Ward's Archive? The 1970s-2010s? Or does it finish with the 1960s and then jump to the new stadium stuff?

John Ward’s materials extend to 2008. We’re currently going through the post-1960s items to check for copyright issues etc and will likely publish a decade every month from September.
