One of the weirdest matches I've ever seen, but happy enough with that. Would have been an absolute sickener if Pope didn't save that at the end, or they scored the rebound, and there'd have been a very nervous wait until Sunday. Champions League returning to SJP after 20 years! Glad you've got top 4 but gutted Pope saved that..purely because it could well have meant Leeds AND Everton going down. Bollocks to that Leicester can fuck off ever since that prick fluked an injury time winner and ran the length of the KB cupping his ear then told a reporter his celebration was to honour his dead cousin. c*** 🤬

It could be you if you want to go and support the Seagulls… Doubt that it could have been Town, unless Dean Hoyle had a £300-500m windfall. It makes me laugh when people say look at Brighton or Bournemouth in comparison to Town. They've both spent shitloads of money that Town don't have. If Bournemouth hadn't gone up they'd have been fucked by FFP and Brighton are probably pretty similar. Plus they both have MUCH bigger catchment areas to grow their fanbase so can speculate more than we can with regards FFP. Which is why I've always maintained FFP has sod all to do with safeguarding clubs and everything to with maintaining the status quo. That last bit is basically what Gary Neville said last night when the presenter was trying to draw him on City's charges.

Brighton may have spent a lot more than Town but unlike us they have spent wisely, almost every player they sign they sell on for a massive profit and still manage to improve year on year, there recruitment team have been outstanding over the last 7 years. Yeah I think my main point was that they (and Bournemouth) have differing levels of initial investment, because their owners have/had more ready (burnable?) cash than DH. That they've invested well (rather than on ginger dwarves and speed twins) is a different topic and I'd definitely agree they (and Brentford) have spent wisely. The way those 2 played they were on something stronger than speed.

They've really got the hang of it as they have become increasingly established at that level. In the beginning they wasted even more money on shite (Locadia, Izquierdo, Jahanbakhsh etc) than we did.

Brighton may have spent a lot more than Town but unlike us they have spent wisely, almost every player they sign they sell on for a massive profit and still manage to improve year on year, there recruitment team have been outstanding over the last 7 years. They've had some flops in fairness too. Alireza Jahanbakhsh - £19m and was pretty crap. Sold for £1m after 3 years Jürgen Locadia - £17m, 35 apps 3 goals released after 4 years José Izquierdo - £14.5m, bang average and released after 4 years Enoch Mwepu - £24m then retired within 18 months due to heart problems. Harsh maybe and insurance probably covered this one. There's a few more at lower figures that have gone on to do little to nothing. But the fuck ups are more than covered by making £69m on Ben White, £47m on Cucurella etc, the kind of water to wine deals we were totally unable to do. They'll be another this summer when Mac Allister goes for £70m. And cos they were just about good enough to not get dragged into relegation battles the last few years they've spent almost all their money on future talent and brought it through brilliantly. Fair play to them but I don't think it's fair comparing them to us. Whilst Bloom has done a brilliant job, he's a level or 2 above Hoyle in finances. We had to get everything right, they had the money to get away with a few slip ups. Edit - beaten to it above

Most important of all, Amanda Staveley.... Would you? I wouldn't touch her with yours. She looks like my foot after a long hike.

It amazes me how women (and some men) think plastic surgery makes them look better. A pretty extreme example is Katie Price/Jordan. When she first started modelling she was stunningly beautiful with an amazing figure ** until she started with the boob jobs and fillers and facelifts. ** Her boobs (IMHO) were perfect before she started enhancing them.

Unfortunately a lot of young women are going down that route, some overdo things to the point of making themselves look laughable, and sometimes actually quite scary too.

Trout pout is the weirdest fashion thing at the moment. The sexy 'Im having an allergic reaction' look. Seriously , do they actually think that looks attractive in any way. ( might do to a male trout I suppose ).
Its usually combined with that eyebrow thing, where each brow looks like a 4 inch strip of gaffa tape.

Useful for unblocking sinks to save on plumbing costs though.

They do finger buffets, only not the type that would be familiar to you and I… If you need to contact them by phone to arrange your event just be mindful of the call queue, you can often be left hanging for a while…

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66281210I used to be OK with Eddie Howe, but he’s obviously having to toe the party line on this. I doubt the PL will kick up a fuss if the transfer fee is within their margin for tolerance. I think they probably have a fairly large tolerance on these things, can’t upset the money men…

I see what you did there. I don't, unless they were on shoddy terms, because one is blatant cheating and I wouldn't want my team to be a cheat, regardless of the success it may bring.

Give it a rest. Do you have less of a problem how owners, like those of Newcastle, can pump money into without the need of it being a ‘loan’?

Let's not pretend that most Town fans would turn a blind eye and ignore their moral compass if it meant world class players and Prem stability every season. I'd let Fred West build me a patio of it saved me a few quid. Don't think he's available

Just a reason why people shouldnt idolise footballers, especially whenever they come out with the..."i've come here to win trophies" bollocks, i'd have more respect if they said "i've come here because they were prepared to give me untold riches, and money for me is the most important thing".
