Birmingham and Reading are after him as well. Thought they were both up financial shit creek? Loan for Riley McGree finished and he’s headed back to his parent club Charlotte FC. Birmingham were hoping to keep him, but got recalled, so I’m not surprised that they are in the market for another attacking midfielder.

because of one admin's blind stubbornness - despite overwhelming votes from posters towards getting the transfer thread back to the place it should be - the main board. Not even mentioning just how dull and banter-free this separate transfer page is. Another poll would show that most posters want to revert to the previous transfer thread on the main page system. I don't understand why the admins don't listen or engage when it's so clear. I DON'T. And I'm not alone. Up the mods Me neither leave it here if you can't find it, is it a justified filter 🤓😚😉

If we have 20k a week kicking about I would rather we get Thomas and Toffolo on new contracts to keep them here and/or to strengthen our hand should anyone come sniffing. Do you think we'd be interested in signing kasey if it impacted our ability to keep those two? For me its a yes. quality player and presumably instead of keeping (the imo very underwhelming) sinani. We wouldnt have a chance of signing him if there wernt question marks over him - these are the types of deals we make and its served us quite well overall. Say what you want about carlos' system (I feel kasey could really help in this regard) but he's been excellent at getting the best out of individuals. I think if he chose us (over wealthier/closer to home clubs) it would be a good sign it was a footballing decision and he wanted to get back on track.

Where's the whole 'Chicken knows nothing' angle come from?I've seen it posted a few times by different people but not really sure what it's based on

A couple of thoughts :-
The statistics on the games played do not appear to match, but the figures are based on different ideas. One is based on starting games and some are on appearances that may only be for a few minutes on the pitch. Also the some only cover league games and discount cup games etc.
Who is actually interested in Palmer? We don't know, it appears that Bristol want to move him on and the press will make up stories to fill the pages and to tempt us to klick on links to find out what is going on. In reality I am suggesting that it will suit Bristol if he left and with a few hints to the press you soon get links popping up every where. This alerts clubs to the possible availability of Palmer and the press get paid for publishing stories in the papers and on the internet.
There may be some truth in the story but we will have to wait to find out.

I really liked Kasey, but if at age 25 he is deemed to be not good enough for Bristol City it suggests to me that he hasn't developed as well as he should have. I expected him to be playing in the PL by now, so unless his wage demands are reasonable it has to be a no from me. At 28 Nichols was not good enough for MK Dongs & Luton we’re happy to release Pearson. The system/role they can play is the big factor. What doesn’t suit one club could be gold dust to another. Yes that's true, and if we do sign Kasey I'll be supporting him and wishing him well. Same goes for every player who ever has or ever will join us.

The problem with Kasey is injuries. If you take Rolando Aarons as an example. He may be a good player but we never find out due to his injuries and then struggling to get in the team, which may be lack of match fitness or lack of quality. We had similar problems when we had Kasey if I remember correctly. Maybe it is a price you pay with flair players but it can be expensive if they don't play much.

Are people getting mixed up with Izzy Brown here? He's not had any significant injuries over the previous 3 seasons or this.

Actually given his London roots it's probably likely that Kasey's preferred choice will be QPR.

Doesn't sound like they are interested in signing him though, as they are just after short term cover whilst Chair is away at the African Nations. Reading the link below, it also indicates that it's Bristol City been sounding other clubs out about him. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-could-go-for-dean-but-fulham-duo-look-out-of-reach

I’d forgotten about Alfie Mawson, didn’t Fulham pay about £20m for him?

In our promotion season he was out for the second half of it with an achilles problem. We got him back the following season in the prem and he only played 5 games. He had hamstring issues then. I don't think the hamstring problems were the only reason he didn't play but it was a problem. He may be stronger and less prone to injuries now, I was just thinking of the time we had him last.
