The club have a policy of not talking openly about transfer targets, so why would they confirm or deny anything to the Examiner?
The Examiner are therefore reliant on a Maynard-type for their intel but that could expose them (more so than a Maynard-type posting on here once in a while, at least they control the narrative on here) - it’s not like SSN or mainstream press where they have agent contacts and there are significantly more cogs, here the inner circle is much smaller (although I recognise that local papers can talk to one another where the picture maybe different). Hence why they have taken leads and stories from here in the past!
