Anyone read Wilder's post match comments. Apparently they were comfortably the better side??!! He is one deluded muppet then and probably the only one who saw it like that. It’s a deflection strategy, a bit like politicians. He got it wrong today and I question their dressing room; lots of little spats all over the pitch. I think Wilder likes to build a confrontational ethos. That might work for them going forward once he gets his own players in but it was counter productive for them today. We defended so well and fronted up when it got physical. I thought Toff’s foul on their tricky wide lad was a decent yellow to get as it put a marker down. Wilder seemed to think he’d turn the game by putting more and more strikers on, leaving them wide open at the back. We could have won 4 or 5. I was expecting fucking Ravenelli to come on in injury time!!!

If Ward's omission is just a precaution we should be ok. I wouldnt be risking anyone today knowing how we normally perform away at Boro. The 2 biggest games left for me are Barnsley and Bristol. Get 6 points from them and we will make the playoffs in my opinion. If Ward is going to miss the last games, do we maybe have a recall on Harratt? I would rather us play Sarr up front than Rhodes.

What I will say about Koroma is, whilst his finishing and final decision making was terrible, he got everywhere and was a big reason we made a lot of those chances, either through link up play or making the runs in behind. Glad someone said it because some of the comments after his misses were appalling really. Finishing aside he played well and the Boro backline couldn't handle him.

Well done guys, you were the better team today and deserved the three points. I thought we looked comfortable in possession but just didn't do anything with it, you doubled up on Isaiah Jones like most teams do these days and when that happens he often looks disinterested. The less said about Bamba's moment of madness, the better. I think that's a playoff place more or less confirmed for you and I think Boro are going to miss out, and to be truthful we don't deserve a playoff place given our current form. If you get Forest, please smash them You may need to narrow down which moment of madness you are referring to.

Still rent free 🤣🤣🤣 Wednesday fans MK2 Funny, I read the Boro forumand Sheff U forum and they're generally OK. A few slaggings but generally thoughtful and reasonable posts. Forest, on the other hand, are the biggest set of clowns since Wednesday fans invaded this board 2016 17 season. Love to fuck them off the same way. And you know, if we don't go up Im genuinely OK with it. I still feel scarred by the fall out from the Premier league experience.

Tedchips, I don’t come on here very often. But, I just saw that you are on every thread and you have an opinion on everything. I really hope you got a nice badge or maybe a rosette? Hats off to you. The ability to comment on everything going on around you is a rare skill. It’s only my wife and you that can do this. Thank you for commenting on every thread and for helping people to come around to your way of thinking As Ted Rodgers would say, whats mr Chips up to.

Outstanding result and what a way to answer the critics who questioned us heading into the international break
Since that break we’ve won three, drawn one, lost none. Playing three sides still in a shout of the play offs
Fantastic work Town

I would really love to get Forest in the play offs, and knock them out, infact I really hope they fail the play offs, and come 7th.

I think a lot of fans have short memories with Koroma. He was out for a long time with a serious injury, by the time he came back the team, style and personal were all very different. He doesn’t look to have the confidence he had, sometimes, particularly with young players it takes time to find that magic again. He was brilliant before his injury. His goals won us a lot of games at the time, we owe him patience at the very least. That’s what togetherness is all about. He will have a big role to play from now until the end of this season, fans need to stay patient with Koroma.

They have lost their last 2 games at home, if Hull can beat them, why not us. Fulham Hull Preston Birmingham Blackpool Q.P.R Have all won at Middlesborough.

Brilliant result. Such a great team performance and we had that attacking intent. Thought Rhodes Toff and Sorba looked very hungry. Sarr played very well after just playing bit part roles off the bench.
On to Fridays game against Barnsley

Well we proper showed up today
Carlos got that one bang on
bit worried about Thomas though
and Koroma is well short of confidence, but hes no less of a player than before.
Lets face it, its amazing what CC and the squad have done
Feeling proud again

I know he’s not popular but I’m glad Scott High is back in the squad. Putting the mistakes to one side, I think Scott has a lot of potential. Hope to see him progress in time

Weird because he's been great for us this season otherwise, despite his age. Thought Koroma caused us lots of problems second half, and Toffolo is a dick (but the sort of dick you'd love to have in your team) and he did well with Jones constantly diving, too. The Sheff Utd result just makes you wish it was all over, it's the hope that kills you. Not to mention there's rumours of Wilder leaving for Burnley (which he hasn't publicly quashed, either.)

Just read wilders post match comments. What game was he at? Did Lee actually have a save to make??? Possession is total bollocks. I keep saying it’s what you do when you have the ball and how you react when you don’t have it.

Missed the game as I was travelling back from a week away, but what a tremendous result. And, by all accounts, on the back of a superb team performance.
Great to hear how well Rhodes played and hopefully Thomas's injury is not too serious.
It's been a great week for Town. 7 points from 9 is an excellent return from three tough games. I would have been happy with 5, so to get two wins is brilliant.
We've nearly secured a play off spot with games to spare. Absolutely amazing. A tremendous achievement by all concerned. Let's just hope we can see the job through.

I've never read such drivel as is posted on here day in day out. Football forums are where petty jealousy between rival fans and nostalgia rule. That's why most people are on them. In and amongst there is some genuine debate and insight.

What I'd like to unfold is ok Forest finish 3rd, Town 4th, Sheffield Utd 5th and Luton 6th...
Forest lose to Luton over 2 legs...cue meltdown on how unfair and unjust it all is....
Town beat the other Sheffield club over 2 legs..
Town v Town in the final... That'll stick it up the 'big boys'...
Terriers win final 4-0
