When I saw the team selection yesterday I was prepared for a "backs to the wall" and try and nick a point. As with much I have thought this season how wrong was I? For me that was probably one of our best performances of the season (really not sure what game Chris Wilder was watching??) in that we were resolute, disciplined and always carried a threat. It was a performance that was more than worthy of the 3 points collected. I expected more from Boro but they weren't allowed to dominate.
Every player emerged with credit with Naby, Jordan, Olly, Pipa all stand outs. Carlos and the coaches once again showed their talent for getting the team ready for different challenges.
This group has achieved far more than I could have hoped and with a backdrop of uncertainty for a good portion of the season.

Tom Lees should join that list for me, every clearance in the 2nd half yesterday seemed to come from his head.

How have you come to that conclusion, John Shires and Jason McCartney were both town fans who actually attended games, apart from the Bradford city supporting weather presenter on look north i dont know which presenter supports what team tbh.

He struggled hosting that show yesterday. Not seen him before, maybe he was a late substitute for someone else who was covering for Jeff?

Ir was intended to be a jpke lad,a dig at the idiot who said Town drew 0-0 against Boro Ah Nick Powell, i heard it too. If memory serves, he left Calendar to try his hand at tv show production etc, many years ago. He’s back presenting a live score results show as a third choice stand-in. Funny old life isn’t it 😉

I've seen him at quite a few town games, i thought he was a town fan. He came with us to the Wembley final v Bristol Rovers in the 90’s as a Town fan and that was years before he got into politics. Think he was reading the local news on Calendar around that time. Decent bloke from memory. I used to work at ITV and he's definitely a Town fan. Along with Will Venters, Nick Beaumont and John Shires there was a decent Town contingent at that time. There are very few Leeds fans in the news room at Calendar. No idea about Look North though!

I expect he doesn't have an excuse. He's only here as a WUM, so he doesn't need one. I'm going to make a prediction now. If we fail to get promoted he's going to be on here lording it over everybody, gloating relentlessly - but if we go up he'll be silent.

Perhaps, but i just thought he was a town fan considering i've seen him at a number of games over the years. He's from York. Obviously when he becomes an mp around here and town are doing well he wants a bit of that Im not from Huddersfield and im a town fan too, the cheek of it!

Fantastic performance and result yesterday - absolutely our best performance of the season. We carried so much threat when we broke that it was like watching a different team. If Sorba Thomas's injury is worse than hoped, a front two of Koroma and Rhodes showed they had something in the second half. Koroma needs a boost in his confidence, but he did more than enough yesterday to justify a shirt with his overall performance.
As for Jordan Rhodes: welcome home properly. His finish was a typical Rhodes goal - one touch, instinctive, early, giving the keeper no chance. For all his knockers, he's still the best finisher we'll ever see. His all round game does lack, but yesterday he was outstanding all over. His defensive headers were vital, he set up one and scored another, and his hold-up play was very, very good, particularly when Koroma came on and he had players around him. Maybe he can play as a lone striker, when he has players coming to support him, rather than being an isolated figure as he has been on his last couple of starts.

Think the three best finishers i've seen at town are Jordan Rhodes, Marcus Stewart, and Craig Maskell, im sure others will have their own opinions though.
