Only one way to make feelings known and that's before the home game against Burnley
First game of the season, on TV so plenty of opportunities to tell the world what we think about this shocking state of the club.
Back the players and poor Danny Schofield but Dean Hoyle deserves all the contempt we can mustre before and after the game

The last sentence of the statement is why we won’t hear anything from Hoyle and co
If we beat Burnley in 3 weeks, or make a decent signing, it’ll all be forgotten

Very good statement, the fans have been treated very poorly over the last few years and i've not seen any accountability from the board.
Time to repay the faith. If it cant be done on the pitch the least we expect is off the pitch.

Loads of season tickets sold (and we all like the cheap price we pay for them don't we?) We have a great squad of Players in my opinion But the club is in a 'shocking state'?.

Let's face it, the days of openness and transparency are gone from our club. DH doesn’t seem interested. Would be nice to know what he’s actually thinking but I guess he doesn’t want any potential buyer to have the upper hand. In the meantime we’re hamstrung

Yes the club is in a shocking state because our owner doesn't have the ambition to build on what was in many senses a miraculous season last year. We are being outmuscled in the market by Mighty Luton Town showing that we do not have the financial backing of the owner to progress us forwards. As someone else said, Dean stepped in like a Knight in shining armour to protect the club from administration. The only debt we owe is to himself! Mr Hokey Cokey, I don't expect my loans back and now I do. This has crippled the club financially and left us pretty much in financial limbo. I wouldn't even mind but the money we earn that could have paid off his debt was spanked on absolutely shite players and its the fans that are ultimately paying the price. The manager has walked because yet again he was expected to Polish turds and he and the fans deserved better. If the players are I deed fucked off as reported then how does that contribute towards a thriving and successful team? Dean is back and we are going to shit again. The sooner he fucks off the better.

If it cant be done on the pitch the least we expect is off the pitch. During PH's tenure we (CL14) were fortunate enough to have regular contact/communication with both the boardroom staff and Phil himself. They were eager to share their positive vision of the club going forward with us and how they were hoping to acheive it, they were very open to our input and feedback on such ideas, and even receptive of some ideas of our own. Unfortunately we have never had anything of the like from Mr Hoyle, at any point in his tenure.

What I don’t understand is that the way the club was operating was succeeding. Carlos signed up for the way we wanted to do things and even signed a longer contract last year. The methodology, recruitment, playing structure and long term building was working, so why did he expect the ownership to suddenly change tack and chuck a load of money at it? Doesn’t make sense to me, I think someone (his agent?) has been telling him he can do better elsewhere and he’s had his head turned.

The signings we’ve been making seem consistent to what we were doing last year though? Unfulfilled talent, players out of contract with something to prove etc… I suppose we will have missed out on some too but that’s just what happens isn’t it? It’s pretty hard to argue the club are going about things the wrong way when you look at how last year panned out. Suppose we’re about to find out how much of that was down to Carlos.

Hey dont let reality get in the way of some good old fashioned melodrama! Its like a drama queen convention on here sometimes! The CL should focus on why you dont hear a peep from our 'singing section' unless we're winning a game rather than some guff about being outsiders at somebody's party.

Unfortunately we have never had anything of the like from Mr Hoyle, at any point in his tenure. Do you think Corberan would still have walked away if PH was still the active owner/chairman ? Suppose we will never know now. I always thought PH's plan was to aim at running things with a minimal loss/ breaking even. Which would mean that we'd have struggled to financially back Corberan anymore under him than we have done so far this Summer with DH running the show. Losing Corberan is a big loss, we owe a lot to him for last season and I am disappointed that he's chosen to go, seemingly for lack of investment. I don't expect the Club to come out and say that though in their official statement because it doesn't bode well for future sponsorship deals or trying to attract new players. I appreciate that some fans are unhappy with the Club's official statement yesterday and it's a shame that DH hasn't afforded Cowshed Loyal the same access to information that PH gave the group but there lots of reasons for this rather than him just being pig headed or ignorant. PH did have abit of a habit of getting abit giddy, he was held to account on some statements he made by fans and then he had to go back on his word or rephrase things. Maybe DH doesn't want to make those same mistakes? I'd be interested to know more information on what was discussed between PH, the other board members and Cowshed Loyal in the past though. Any chance you can share that ?

Any chance you can share that ? Just to clarify. The discussion with PH and the board at the time with the CL14 was specific to criticism levelled at town by large sections of the fan base for their lack of communication with the fans and transparency. Both PH, DTS and Devlin took that onboard the fact that fans were unhappy with the lack of communication. Nothing else other than lack of communication was discussed.

From what I gather we have lost one full back and we seem to be expecting to loose the other and not replace them. Yes we have cover but not the type of players that fit CC method of attacking play. This appears to be the one of the causes of disagreement. Apparently the people we can't afford to sign were on CC hit list and one of the ones we have signed was not wanted by CC and our targets moving forward are also not ones that will fit his style of play. We can't confirm all of this but it appears to be the best fit to the information we do have.

Still doesn’t feel significant enough for him to walk away from his reasonably freshly signed contract to me. I think there’s something else going on and Carlos has used this as an excuse to leave.

If that's the case then how can Schofield be expected to 'continue' with that progress with players that don't fit into that style of play? The continuity is shot.
