I think it's effin pathetic that most of our fans are constantly looking at everything he says or posts and interpreting it against him..driving division is in absolutely nobody's interest connected with the club. There are a hell of a lot of people who quite clearly need something else to do.

It might not actually be a Town fan posting that reply.
The club need to get this lad off social media for his own good, and I’m extremely surprised they haven’t told him that in the Summer. Yesterday he was as ineffective as last season and this kind of post - tongue in cheek or not - won’t help show that he is focussed, quite the opposite.
Time to delete Twitter/X, and the rest Sorba lad.

He needs to be more careful about who can see them or just don't post stupid stuff in the first place

If this is genuine I would get rid of him the bloke is a clown. Didn’t do us any harm when he wasn’t about last season, send him to league one because that’s probably his level. Had he been any good blackburn would have tried to keep him. He's got potential but he's got a waster attitude. He needs to grow up and realise that he's not made it and never will with that attitude. He can join the long list of other players who think they are better than they are who don't listen, learn and improve... He's not even the best in our team and the younger lads with the right attitude are showing him up, it won't be long until he's replaced in the team by them. Doesn't matter if it's football, another professional sport or business. Poor attitude alienates you and only realising it himself will change that, sadly he doesn't seem to learn despite being shipped out etc. I expect he will be a top performer in league two in the next few years. What a waste. And he doesn't have anyone else to blame.

I was highly critical of Sorba last year but now is not the time to get on his back. We all need to pull together. As far as Sorba is concerned I agree he needs to get off social media . Best thing I ever did was delete my Facebook and insta account, one of the biggest diseases spreading through the world ATM

Is this another thing that is getting twisted? I can only see the pic as I do not have twitter. But does it say anywhere about the comment being about a commercial flight? Looks to me Sorba is focusing on what Helik is doing. Helik being captain, sorba ripping into him and having banter about whatever Helik is doing on his laptop? Doubtful. There's no laptop in the picture. Just the flight safety sheet in front and a player on his phone messaging someone. I can't see anything else in the image for him to be laughing at, bar the plane. Also, as you're not viewing on twitter and viewing from this thread, that's only about 60% of the shot. So the centre of the shot is not the phone in front, but actually above to the middle of the plane. He's clearly having a laugh at the splashing out on a plane having had to make the same journey down in a bus/van in pre-season. Nothing to see.

That'd be surprising

That'd be surprising Wouldn't say its that clear to be honest. He doesn't help himself does Thomas. However, the guy on twitter is playing a very dangerous game with those comments he's made. I'd be doing the lad for slander if I was Thomas.

That'd be surprising What would that have to do with anything either way? They didn't fly down or back from the same place for pre-season and made lots of jokey comments about driving around in the kit van etc in the rain, thats the recent experience he's comparing/reflecting on. He's not a witness in a court of law talking about his entire life, he's a footballer with plenty of years of playing at a down to earth environment in his back-pocket who knows full well how lucky he is.

Regardless of the context it's stupid to post something that COULD be taken a different way to the actual meaning, especially as a large percentage of the fan base already have it in for him. Lad gave a great interview a few weeks back and should be keeping his head down and proving his doubters wrong. A silly move and hopefully he will pulled up about it by those at the club that are there to look after stuff like this. I agree with your point, but you do realise the glarring irony 😆 I do, but then I'm not a professional footballer.

I think Sorba Thomas needs to leave Huddersfield Town for his own good.
He was booed on against Alkamaar where I was sat and you've constantly got people calling him a nonce.
Funny thing is, it's always from teenage virgins that probably have questionable things on their own hard drives.
Of course, he doesn't help himself but he strikes me as being a bit thick rather than anything of it being malicious.

I suspect he will be out of the club by next Summer one way or another. If he doesn’t pull his finger out he’ll be back in non-league within a couple of years. If he can sort his head and attitude then he has few limits. He has one season under one of the best man managers the game has, he really need a word in his ear to take things on board and take the chance.

He worked harder defensively than I have seen him do in the past. One sprint all the way back to the corner by the away fans when he had just been up the other end was outstanding. Yes he stopped a bit easily when Mumba went past him but he was within his rights to expect one of the five players between him and the goal to stop him

I think it's a 2000's football hooligan film. Stone Island donning wannabe hard men who are actually silly little boys wearing nappies with Spiderman on.

That'd be surprising I believe Cowley stopped us flying for games. Because he had a right strop after Bristol City, where we were mullered 5-2 and called out Reece Brown, Isaac Mbenza, Adam Diakhaby and Terence Kongolo. If my memory serves right he said that the players were 'pampered' after they flew down and that he was 'ashamed' of the performance Town put in given the miles the fans would have drove. I can't recall a time since that they have flown down for a game, because even without this picture from Sorba, I knew they had flown down, because Diarra posted a picture of them flying down. Seems to me like it is something Nagle is happy to fund and that is why they flew down.

Worked his arse off stopping 3/4 attacks and put in a wicked ball to Koroma that he should have finished. He did a crap corner, but given the wind and the number of corners we had, he was bound to fluff one at some point. Yes he did balls it up for the second goal by not drawing the foul, but not to mention Hogg and Ruffels just jogging and pointing, while REG just stood still like he's defending vs prime Messi. I am not for one minute condoning abuse against any of the former mentioned players, but come on, if there was any sort of consistency, they would also be criticised. But there has literally been nothing said about any of them playing a part in the goal.

Well that adds another element to it. Was one private and one commercial? Just can't work out why he's posted what he has yesterday having already flown down.

But he still should of tracked his man for the goal even fouling him, Warnock was discussed on side line. Can't expect others to do your job for you

Was one private and one commercial? Just can't work out why he's posted what he has yesterday having already flown down. It is hard to work out if they have taken a chartered or commercial route, but I think they both looked the same in the picture I saw on Diarra's. Because there is a difference between going in a 'private jet' and chartering a place for a route. My guess is that they have chartered it, because I can't see anything from Leeds Bradford to Newquay or Exeter. Although, there are commercial flights from Manchester to Newquay. But I can't believe it has got to the point where I am looking up potential routes they could have took! IMO given the social media traction on the reply to Nagle's tweet, Town will have 100% have picked it up and be investigating it regardless.
