Damn, won’t be there Saturday but will be up for the Blackpool game. Would have loved to see and hear the reception DW will deservedly get.

For once “ Return of the King” is not over stating things.
Apart from family, the man I respect more than any other.
We couldn’t say goodbye, but we can show him our appreciation on Saturday.
I’d go to the game just for that.

Maybe this is the new tactic.
Bring in a former successful boss to get to lure Danny into a sense of shitting himself prior to delivering a winning performance. It worked with Warnock attending the Stoke game and if it does the trick on Saturday, expect Buxton to be in attendance for the Blackpool game.

Brilliant, looking forward to "Return of the King." - UTT. Saw it years ago mate. Good movie but a bit overblown with too many "endings".

It's quite fitting that's WBA is the opposition.
Remember when he was lined up to take over and their fans were massively up in arms about it?
Look at how it's turned out for them since...

Anyone think Dean might be testing the waters, for if things don't pick up and Danny gets the boot

Anyone think Dean might be testing the waters, for if things don't pick up and Danny gets the boot Just thinking the same. All it does is increase the pressure on Schofield which seems harsh. Look at the responses on the tweet from town, every other response is asking for Wagner to be back in charge.

Yeah, okay it happens on here too, but this ain't the OFFICIAL Town website or twatter account or fakebook page. Wankers disrespecting DS like that when he's not even been in the job 3 month!

Anyone think Dean might be testing the waters, for if things don't pick up and Danny gets the boot What you have to remember is that we spent 'big' (by our standards) in his first full season - albeit keeping the wage bill small. We broke our transfer record to bring Schindler in. Looks like we'll never go back to those days whilst Hoyle is in charge, so why would DW do it? He performed a miracle to take us up on a shoestring budget. But being asked to do it on a half-shoestring budget?

Surely Dave and Dean will be having THAT conversation on Saturday??
Would you accept a defeat if it got Wagner back in the job??

It'll be nice to see the king again but people saying he would take back the helm here are dreaming.
They say you should never go back, I think it's true in football too. He surely wouldn't be able to re create the magic on and off the pitch we had last time.

He said it’s an old German saying that he believes in life you sometimes meet people twice..
Prophetic??

People getting slightly carried away, was meant to be guest last home game of last season.
However, was unsure if I can make this game but this has swayed me if there’s even a slight chance of getting there I’ll be there to thank him for his service to us. DWBA

In addition, his success was largely in part to the Army of Germans he was able to bring with him - great players all of them, is that avenue now removed following Brexit? Apart from internationals obviously
