It's starting to look like Hoyle doesn't have a plan, he never does. What a joke of a chairman. The last "plan" got us 7 defeats from the first 9 games, so maybe it's best if he doesn't have one this time

It's just like the transfer window, I'm just waiting for statement or something to say that we tried our very best but ultimately were'nt quite able to get a deal over the line. If it is the scenario that Young Boys are paying him until the end of the season, will probably be more than we will offer him until the end of the season, so in theory may as well move on if thats the case. We wouldn’t need to move on just some negotiations needed with the other club. It’s in everyone’s interest to get a solution.

Yep, the sooner it is sorted the better all around, need some stabality and need to start climbing up the table. The Cardiff win was very much needed, shame this international break came up.

It's starting to look like Hoyle doesn't have a plan, he never does. What a joke of a chairman. Are you serious? A lack of an appointment a mere 7 days after the previous manager was sacked is NOT indicative of a lack of a plan. These things take time - approaches are probably made to managers who say "no", alternatives are approached, contracts have to be negotiated, drafted and agreed, if the appointee is currently working then compensation with his club has to be negotiated. More likely is that he has a very clear plan but finding a manager who wants to work within his plan i.e. the current structure, may not be easy. This is a probably a significant barrier to the the return of David Wagner.

A structure that, in Leigh Bromby's words, David Wagner was mostly responsible for implementing so I can't see that being the barrier. Getting his ball and chain to agree to move, and sorting out his contract with Young Boys sound like the possible barriers.

Of the two championship clubs he's managed, QPR & Birmingham, his stats read, 18 games, won 5, drawn 5, lost 8. Paying compensation for a bang average manager seems daft, but hey, he's Bromby's mate 🤔 Definitely don’t want Woodgate or Eustice or someone just because Bromby previously played with them. Also wouldn’t want someone like Parker as he’s only ever done anything with a massive budget. Wagner for me. Anthony Barry if not.

Doesn't seem to fit the profile Bromby was talking about.

Wagner is still the clear favourite - Few Town tinted glasses on here I think, if you were being paid a salary and owed money would you give it up without question?
Wagner will be wanting his owed money from Young Boys and his new salary from Town - rightly so.
It's up to Town not to sort something out or move onto another target, yes it's not an immediate appointment but there's a reason.

The way Chicho carried himself last week and set the team up, I'm a lot more relaxed about waiting for the right man. Yes, it was only 1 game, but the shape of the team and intensity and aggression we played with was enough for me to think we can afford to leave things in Chicho's hands for a month or so if that's what's needed to get the right man.

Spot on. Narcis has been like a breath of fresh air with his team choices, use of subs, playing 2 strikers and especially stopping playing out from the back. No surprise we had our first clean sheet and Nicholls back to his best as well. I realise Narcis says he doesn't want the job and won't be applying but that may be because he would like to keep his job long term by not taking a chance on the manager/head coach situation. Perhaps that's why he did not follow Carlos when the fat Greek came calling.

We wouldn’t need to move on just some negotiations needed with the other club. It’s in everyone’s interest to get a solution. Just move on and get someone that actually wants to be here. Waste 2 weeks of 'settling in' with the break. Then another month of games before a month off for the world cup but that break is just before the next window? I would want every free minute for a new manager to sort out himself, the coaching staff and the squad. Its actually a gift for us that we could waste. Are there ever more than a handfull of real candidates for our job? How long does it take to interview blokes with a fully checkable track record, does football now take itself far too seriously about these things even though its led to probably more and quicker sackings of managers than ever before.? Will we get a better fit here or a cheaper fit the longer we take?

A point Bromby made in his interview was something along the line of there’s more players away on international than usual so this week wasn’t as valuable to a new manager as normal. Suggested to me we wouldn’t get someone this week

Suggested to me we wouldn’t get someone this week A day extra in between games for a new bloke is important. Bromby for me should simply take on the role of picking the team and tactics and inform the coaches as to what he wants from the team. Then if it goes tits up we can just sack Bromby.. This selecting players for your coach to deal with is shite.. If its my head on the block then I get a real say in who comes in, goes out and how we play.

It could be weeks yet before he’s in the building potentially, hopefully Saturday was a sign of improvement and we can manage until that point.I don’t think the guys taking it now need to do absolutely loads to get on the right side of a few results. We are by no means at the same god awful levels performance and spirit wise we were when cowleys took over. Guess we just have to wait and see as irritating as that may be

yeah, and it was an absolutely appalling plan, thus proving my point totally correct. And if he had a brain he'd have known that plan was definitely NOT going to work after a couple of games, and been lining someone up for a few weeks. I'm not Dean Hoyle's biggest fan by a long way. He made a mistake (& possibly would admit it - although I'm not sure admitting mistakes is his strongest point). TBH I'd prefer his mistakes to involve giving a loyal servant a chance because probably the main reason I dislike him is he doesn't seem to value loyalty very highly (a lot less than £104). However you're suggesting a man worth an estimated £300 million (from not a lot) & who led your club to the Premier league when most had given up dreaming about it - doesn't have a brain. Seriously? Everyone is entitled to an opinion but that's a strange one (IMHO). I trust you can measure up to him.

As well as possible delays if it's Wagner, Anthony Barry who's been linked, is also part of the Belgium coaching set up so it's likely he'll be away on international duty as well.
I'd be happy for Narcis to continue in the short term if it means we get the right guy in the end.

Saturday isnt fooling us, I hope not anyway, as the previous defeats were not as bad as some painted them.
