Can someone actually ask the correct questions.
Where is Hogg ? (I am told he is injured and can’t train every day and could play but with a risk or more serious injury, there have been many arguments in last few weeks but this is no more than passion from both sides and I am told very little in it)
What’s the update on Tino ?
What’s happening with Russell ? (I agree he was off it but we need midfielders and I fell he would currently improve the squad)
Where is KKH ?
Where is Boyle ?
Where is Mbete ?
What’s the update on Pearson ?
Do you now know the name of our Japanese international ?
You said you don’t want to be friends with the players but do you actually want to fall out with many of them ?
Is LB still speaking to you or have you fallen out with him yet ?
Do you think you are out of a job if you lose to Boro ?
Now you feel your getting the message across to the players, is your message to not have a shot on target in a home match ?

journalists that do get to ask questions at the club wouldn't ask half of those questions, unless they don't want inviting back. the skill is in asking something general that coaxes something out of him. I think in his own way MF is wise to that possibility so goes back to his unusual stock lines about scaffolding companies, effort in training, etc etc

He's probably had a word in his ear from DH/LB - planned answers, positive updates on Hogg/playing squad, gloss over training issues etc.

I hope we never see Boyle,Mbete and KKH in our team ever again. They are all so poor theyd struggle to get in a decent non-league side.

I hope we never see Boyle,Mbete and KKH in our team ever again. They are all so poor theyd struggle to get in a decent non-league side. Boyle, I agree but he should be starting for B team. Mbete, I actually think he will improve maybe it’s a season too soon for him, again should be starting for reserves to get match practise and to be ready when needed. KKH, I don’t think we should give up on him yet he has some ability and now we are playing with wing backs he could be suited to the formation more, would of liked him to come on against Preston for Ward and moved Sorba forward. Attitude could be an issue but this might just be MF making it seem like he has a bad attitude. |

It’ll be a littered with answers like we’ve trained well, I’m not here to be the players friends, we were unlucky on Tuesday and Saturday, we look good in training, why he stays on the pitch at halftime, he only wants players in the match day squad who put in 5 full days of training, we’re not far off being a good team, fine margins between winning and losing, we create lots of chances at set pieces, we’ve been on the training ground this week and improved our play in the final third and at set pieces at the back and he’ll mention that the town fans are brilliant and want to see a hard working team which he is building towards.

My over riding thought when I see Eddie Howe talking is, why doesnt he open his jaw to speak? Seriously his teeth never stop touching each other. Just his lips move. Mbete, KKH, Russell, Boyle etc. starting in our B Team game today?
Hardly going to be up to speed if they haven't played a game for weeks.

What is this madness? I'd imagine if you watched a few press conferences around the country, you'll find some examples that align to what you think you'll have heard from MF. Probably some a lot worse as well. |

These things are rarely without substance, especially with reputable posters backing up the claims. I'm not going to judge MF on his managerial abilities yet, but one thing for sure is that he certainly knows how to say the right things. |

So, there's no bust-up, they were having a coffee discussing when he could come back this week, but there's also no timescale on when he can come back? I'm not sure I buy it in light of what ITK posters here are saying. If it's not the truth it's up to the pair of them, not just Fotheringham. Hogg isn't beyond reproach here if there has been a prolonged falling out

It was just as predicted. Scripted bollocks to try and reassure the doubters and paper over the cracks. A win tomorrow would also do exactly that, paper over a few cracks.
