Looking at their forum they seem pretty confident. Not sure why? They've won 1 of their last 8 & missing their most creative player tonight.

Well, those results last night emphasized what deep shit we are in. Saturday was the first glimmer of hope but lose tonight and genuinely I think we're gone - based on how really bad we've been again some really poor sides and how unconvincing MF has sounded. Win tonight and I'll just start to think I might have been wrong about MF. Hugely pivotal game. Win tonight and we are ten points off the playoffs with a game in hand. I’m not suggesting that we have any chance of getting near the playoff but just demonstrating how tight the league is this year. We also have 30 games to play. That’s 90 points to play for. Even if we lose tonight there is plenty of time to get out of trouble. How dare you be so reasonable!!!! You’re totally right it’s a bang average league so far and we could see an exciting unexpected top 6…..we won’t be in it, sadly, but no reason we can’t climb out of the bottom three and get to mid table mediocracy, which after this awful start, will do just fine

Would agree not much to base it on.potentially they have simms back starting but clarke likely to miss.they are decent going forwards but if we can defend well then we have every chance.no sorba will be a miss I suppose.defend well and a performance comes first tonight for me.although granted we need the points, and I probably wouldn’t be saying that had we lost Saturday 😂

Tonight's referee is Oliver Langford, followed by James Linington (Blackburn) & Gavin Ward (QPR).......Hoggy must be back Saturday then?

Crazy league. If Sunderland win they could move to the top half of the table with a couple of winnable matches against bottom half sides to come before the break, but if they lose, it'll be 1 win 9 and with Stoke playing Wigan, could find themselves just a point above the drop. Very congested. With not too much happening in the Champions League, especially involving the English clubs, I'll definitely be tuning in to the match on Sky, although a shame it's not the featured one. Does any part of you secretly hope they go up, so you have another entertaining couple of matches and chances to do them over? Not really. I have perhaps looked at them a little differently since the takeover, and to be honest, up until recently, I was wanting West Brom to lose more than them (petty I know...), but I'd still like to see them in that league for a few more years. Maybe down the line when (hopefully) we are more established, but for now, I don't miss the derby at all, ha.

We really need a win after last night’s nightmare set of results and while the heart as always says - Aye we will win - The old head is going for a score draw in this one...
Looks like Town fans emotions getting pulled Left, Right and Centre as when I voted it took all three options to 33.33% each from 168 votes - Extremely even indeed !
Not much good to us but anyway -
PREDICTION = Huddersfield Town 1 v Sunderland 1...

Looking at their forum they seem pretty confident. Probably seen our Poll...........it resembles an Olympic 100m photo finish.

I’m sure there are some on here that want Nottingham Forest to lose even more than L&$ds at the moment.. it’s weird what time away from a rival can do.. haha

Seen similar requests before and never really took notice. Stuck in Germany due to work. Anyone know how I can access the game?

Bilokapic playing for the B team this afternoon v Salford. I'm surprised we're risking playing him on matchday.

With all the results going against us last night, it's important we get our first back to back wins of the season tonight.

Out of interest how were the results bad last night? Coventry Boro and West Brom won't be going down this year, if anything it has done us a favour Blackpool and Hull losing.

If football was that predictable it would be extremely boring. Other teams' results are largely irrelevant at this stage of the season really; if we get between 50 to 54 points we'll more than likely stay up, if we don't we'll probably go down no matter what other teams do.

As the revered one Nick would have said, it's a must win game.
Ahead of his time, Nick... the Martin Peters of DATM.

Given the conditions (albeit it may stop raining by kickoff), might be worth having a few skidding along the ground shots from distance, see if the keeper spills the wet ball

Yep, will be interesting conditions tonight, first game where they’ll have to properly adjust??

I'm still waiting for the game in which "our strikers are gonna cause a lot of problems" for the opposition's defence, as MF keeps telling us. Maybe it's tonight. 3-1. Come on boys 🤞

As the revered one Nick would have said, it's a must win game. Ahead of his time, Nick... the Martin Peters of DATM. Nick once said the THIRD game of a season was a MUST win game. He really was an (very) unfunny WUM. Tonight isn't MUST win under any definition of the word... ...but I'd totally accept it is one of those games that could be a defining moment in the season. Win and we're almost back in the pack, lose and we're one of only two clubs with less than a point a game, having played three more games at home than away. Wouldn't look good.

A win, however it comes is going to be most welcome. It could spark a burst of confidence in the squad that sees us rise up the league a bit (eeeIeeeieeio)
