I never done one of these and couldn’t see one.
A much improved performance at the weekend. We look fitter. Interesting that the new MD referred to pre-season as being shocking. Pleased that he could see what most of us saw.
No Sorba, so it will be interesting to see how we do without him. Will Turton be fit ?
I’ll go for 1-1
Team Nichols Jackson Helik Lees Yuta Camara kasuma Mahoney rudhoni Holmes Ward
Let’s beat these though Town as up here in the north east most of my golfing pals support Sunderland. I need to be able to take the piss next Sunday.
UTT.

Just a heads up for anyone who’s recorded the ITV highlights on Sky series link. I’ve just noticed that ITV have changed channels from ITV4 to ITV1 this week so your box won’t record it.

Good for the pubs and munchi places in Huddersfield and they’ll enjoy the fantastic prices and value for money as well for sure... I only know two back home - a girl from there that married a Local lad and a young Local fella who broke the glory glory ranks - Not sure what they’re like as a support, but I don’t hear too much about them so I’m presuming they’re ok but the good folks of Huddersfield will know far better than me about that one way or another... Anyway - Hope they have an enjoyable day in Huddersfield but CERTAINTY NOT an enjoyable evening on the field of play and head back up North East to Weirside pointless and empty handed !

Saw a Sunderland fan, on Twitter, complaining that we "only" gave them 2,300 tickets and that we should give them the whole South Stand.

Hadn’t realised Sorba was suspended. Seeing as, give it to Sorba, seems to be our only tactic. i think we might struggle.

I remember Town was heaving last time we played them. Think it was when they had Quinn and Phillips up front. It was a night match as well, if I remember correctly.

I don't really like North East teams. That Paullow? Is a decent guy on here. But generally they seem to be in the Wednesday Forest Leeds bracket of muppetry. Not sure if that's a word.

Think we are jigged without Thomas. Reliant on him for attacking threat.

I think Mahoney will do ok in sorba’s place , he’s also A set piece maestro including scoring from corners!

Don't mind Boro and Newcastle fans tbh. Always a decent bunch. Sunderland though are like Wednesday, think they should be entitled to PL football.

Hadn’t realised Sorba was suspended. Seeing as, give it to Sorba, seems to be our only tactic. i think we might struggle. It'll work both ways seen as their best creative player in Jack Clarke is suspended for them aswell. 4 goals, 6 assists.

I predicted a 1-1 draw on Saturday (what do I know) and am predicting the same score against Sunderland, a win would be superb though ,and would see our confidence soar.
Well done MF and the team on Saturday , lets hope for more good news on Wednesday evening.

A genuine Sunderland supporting mate says loads coming down without tickets on't piss in the afternoon. After Boro we are the next nearest so its a fixture they target. Huddersfield 115 miles , Hull 113 miles , and strangely enough Burnley 111 miles.. Town is the furthest of the three , but also the quickest.

But like I said , town might not be the closest but definitely the quickest to get to . Wednesday afternoon/evening could be fun in the town centre.

Little known fact...Yuta takes more dangerous corners than Sorba, as we'll see on Wednesday. The issue with that is that Yuta is also very good at heading goals from corners as well and he can't do both at the same time. I'd let Jackson take them first, assuming Mahoney isn't playing. PS: I do know that Yuta is a dead ball specialist.

Sorba will be a big loss, but it might work to our advantage as someone else has to fill the creative gap left by him. He's got half a dozen assists on his own this season; someone else needs to step up and provide some creative energy and quality final balls.
My worry is that what little we have seen of Mahoney hasn't suggested he's in a position to step up, and Rowe has only played one half-hour in over a year.

I like to think the squad will know what they'll miss without Sorba and all step up their games a bit. Tough one deciding who replaces not just him, but possibly Turton if he's still out. I hope Rowe can show what he's capable of again, he's another quick winger who has a bit of bite in the tackle. Was crap in his long awaited return the other week though. Mahoney had a couple of good cameos, and a couple of bad ones. Jackson or maybe Spencer could step in for Turton. It's gonna be a lineup met with a few sighs I feel
