To be fair I thought we actually played well. We just lack that bit of creativity and quality in the final third.
Like a lot of teams this season, Preston didn’t look that much better than us, didn’t really create loads of chances against us and only scored one.
We’re solid at the back, if we can start creating more in the final third, we’ve a chance……just a chance
January is vital

With all the gloom and despondency, even though we are six points from safety, with 7pts from the last 5, 10 from last 8, keep that up for the rest of the season to give 50 points. Rough calc - maybe I need to check it.
Checked - 10 from 8 = 1.25 pts per game = 28.25 for remaining 23 games
7 from 5 - 1.4 per game = 32.2
So if they maintain that, Town will end up with 50 to 54 points which is usually easily enough to survive.

Unusually for me I’ve not been to the football today and couldn’t even find out the score until just now. Haven’t read the thread yet, of course, so no idea how Town played, but what a great win.
Hopefully it’ll be the catalyst to a change in fortunes and a few wins on the bounce. Amazing what a little winning run can do to a team’s season. Well done Town.
Off the field shenanigans can’t be helping but let us all show why we’re named Terriers for a reason.
