Bizarre how many people think MF is the problem, his form since since coming in has been above bottom three, despite having to field half a team of kids for months on end. The football is going to be shit as it's a necessity to make us hard to beat to keep us in games. We are also still without any attacking quality, because the only attack minded players we have are injured.
The bloke needs to be given a window at least, and as a bare minimum he needs a chance to replace the shite loan players he inherited.

Well done to the 1097 fans who made the trip today 👏 The performance in the last 15 minutes must have been worth it. 1097. Ffs. What a dreadful turn out. But those that went thoroughly deserve that win. Well done guys n girls. It's genuinely twice as many as I thought would be there. I almost couldn't be bothered to log in to ifollow, nevermind head out in this weather. I hope everyone made it back through the M62 snow on the tops.

Simpson comes on: we look dangerous Diarra comes on: he transforms the game.
I’ve said it all season - we’re not far off. Get another 1 or 2 players in (a la Ndlovu) and survival is very much on the cards.

I'd like to see Simpson start with Rhodes on Thursday. I reckon JR would score a hatful with a big pacey bulldozer alongside him.

Did notice a much more subdued tone today......hopefully if it continues the results will!!!

Mate fair play to you and every town fan that went today proud as owt🙌🏻, I think everyone before the game was thinking of the worst but you paid the money and get the to see the lads win which is amazing , get home, have a beer and celebrate 👍🏻, hopefully now the season starts

Where has that rumour come from? The idea we would lose our only two experienced strikers in the middle of a relegation crisis seems very unlikely, especially as we have lost Tino as well. Holmes played the full match today and I think Camara was rested as he had a hard time against Watford. Thomas is a possibility but if he goes for a fee that should allow us to bring in a replacement. I also hope we come to an agreement with Chelsea so we can replace Tino. It's on the club site, from what he was saying he has been told there is nothing. However, I do think if we win on Thursday and climb off the bottom Dean would be mad to sell his best players from under him and not replace them. Having no money and getting rid of players you need are two different things. I know MF said there was no money in January but I didn't hear, or see, anything about a fire sale. That was the rumour I was asking about. Where has that come from?

The old finger to the lips from KKH after his goal. Come on lad, it'll take far more than a fortunate bundled in goal for you to be able to shush the fans.
Some of these players need to realise how lucky they are to have been playing this poorly and had almost zero stick at matches. They would have been getting absolute pelters at most clubs. Yes they receive some on social media but it's their choice to read it.
I'm still hoping he's sent on his way in January as he is simply not good enough yet for this level.

Absofoookinlutely delighted to be wrong bro.. Me and my lad were dancing round the house like teenagers when that winning goal went in.. Well played lads.. The great escape is officially on.. 🍻🍻 I fear its not. Fotheringham said in his post match would will go and two in 😀interview there is zero try much thst more than tmoney for January and he has to work with what he has. If the rumours of Ward, Rhodes, Holmes and Thomas leaving are true then that takes one hell of a chunk out of our squad. I also think Camara will go too. if I doubt very much that more than two will leave and two will come in

What a nightmare journey there and back today. Hope non of the town fans were involved in any of the 9 accidents we witnessed.
Worth the trek through snow followed by torrential rain.
Similar to most games recently, we don't look any better or worse than any of preston, sheff utd or Watford, just obvious our deficiencies up front. Another win or two this week wouldn't go amiss and then hopefully ready to address the attacking areas in January.. Diarra is lively coming on as a sub for last 30 minutes at the moment, I'd say not far off been a quality championship starter next year
Address those and we will be fine. Players deserved and got a win today. UTT.

What a great equaliser that was today for Town in the 100th (38 wins a piece) meeting between the two sides, an inspired sub on 70 minutes seemed to bring the team to life when PNE were looking good for a 2nd, but then 20+ minutes later the score could quite easily been 4-1 to Town.
All eyes now turn to Thurs/Sun with two winnable home games & no excuses for players or fans alike not to turn up & play their part (even the trains are running)........a festive nine (7 at a push) pointer would be a great tonic for everyone connected with Town to start the New Year..(sod dry January) UTT.

Ok, so what's Nichol's doing for their near post soft goal? - UTT. Trying to save it 🤔 Poor defending & poor goalkeeping, he totally messed up - UTT.

Gotta say well done to the players for a very unexpected win today and kudos to the fans who traipsed across the Pennines in what sounded like pretty poor weather conditions. One swallow certainly doesn’t make a summer but it’s a start.

Yes!!!! Can’t remember the last time a goal was celebrated like that. I’d almost forgot what it felt like.

Ruined my fucking day that. Probably ruined a lot of Leeds United fans’ day as well - oops I forget their rivals are Man Utd... or is it Man City these days !

Well well well. If we do nothing else this season we've put the Deepdale hoodoo to bed Just the Derby one to go now 🙄 We’ll hopefully we get the chance to put that one to bed by them getting promoted rather than Town getting relegated !

That was a CRITICAL win today as once again the nearby rivals bar Wigan picked up something - Blackpool, Hull, Cardiff, Rotherham and Stoke all got a point but hey ho - HUDDERSFIELD TOWN got THREE !!!! 👍
Absolutely vital that today ! 🥃 ⚽️⚽️ 🥃

Poor defending & poor goalkeeping, he totally messed up - UTT. He/they did, but Woodman just let the ball go straight across him with no idea that KKH was behind him

The problem was that Ndlovu only played 6 games for us, Booth played 8 that season. If we can get player/s to make a difference for 20+ games from January we have every chance.

They were 7th in the league prior to that game and that's how their fans respond. We are rock bottom after having barely ackred a goal for months and some on here call fans out for daring to be pissed off with the situation. As I have said before, it's mild on here considering our position compared to a lot of other clubs.

The fine margin thing is if Kusumu wasn’t booked, he’d likely only have had 5mins at the end if the game if at all, and we lose.
