How nice it is to come on here after another win. Another very good performance last night. Thomas may be warming the bench for a while as I thought KKh was excellent.
A tough game on Sunday but feels good going into it on the back of two wins.
Negative ? Oggy's commentary is fucking awful - get shut Radio Leeds.

An indicator to how well we played was the almost silent, sold out, away contingent. I thought we would be drowned out by them but they looked nervous all night. Great to see.

Didn't notice until having a proper look just how much Rotherham are in free fall Their new manager has been in charge for 15 games, winning just 3 of them. 2 of those came early on, one against us and one at Stoke when they won with 1 shot on target to Stoke's 12. They've got a big decision to make as sticking with him looks like nailed on relegation. Wigan have 2 wins in their last 15 and also in free fall. With a couple of additions in January and some players returning from injury you've got to like our chances of finishing above those two. I think Blackpool could get out of it as they have some individual quality capable of match winning moments. Hull, Cardiff and Bristol City seem very hit and miss, an injury crisis for any of them would do us nicely January window critical. With Anjorin going back assume we will free up ability for at least one loan?

Presume a move has been lined up for Russell too.
Get those three off the books and hopefully a couple of exciting attacking loans can come in.
Tonight’s team plus Pearson and a couple more forward replacements means we aren’t going to be worrying about relegation in a month or so.

January window critical. With Anjorin going back assume we will free up ability for at least one loan? What will we do with Mbete? Good question. He has played a few but MF seems to like the three centre backs we are playing, and we have Pearson back soon so I can’t see him getting many league games. Smart move for Man City would be recall him and send him somewhere he will play but that doesn’t always happen. Regarding the transfer window I do wonder if that is Sorba’s problem. He could have come on and steadied the ship last night but he was like a bull at a gate, and nowhere near as good as he can be. It could be an interesting window.

What will we do with Mbete? Send him back. Definitely Mbete back that would free up two loan options and with no real cash for buying in Jan we will need them to be very good loans!!

We’ve had some great loan players in the last few years who really have made the difference.
I’d like to see them go back to their parent club. If it frees up a bit of cash to try and get another one or two in then good. But currently they are just a drain on our resources.
It’s going to be an interesting few weeks I think

The most comfortable match of the season. Rotherham caused us no threat at all until they had a couple of decent chances after we were 2-0 up.
Well done to the lads for showing the fight & desire to start dragging us up the table.
Luton will be a tougher test but we're capable of beating them.

Watching on the red button isn,t the best way to analyze games, but I thought we were good up to the Subs being made.Subbing Rhodes for Simpson,he might as well have sent on a wheelie bin,and don,t start me on Thomas, the free kick he insisted on taking {straight into the wall}was what I expected, having said that the defence did well but, as has been mentioned previously,I wish they could practice passing from the back to our players. All in all a good result from an improving team{that started the game}...footnote.. I hope taking Rhodes off does not indicate he is being sold..Madness.

It's very rare for our lone striker to play 90 mins, especially when he and Ward are both 32 years old!

Holmes' goal was the first instance this season when a shot/header has hit the woodwork and actually gone in. Don't think it happened once last season either. Bizarre.

Thought we dominated from minutes 20 to 70 whilst Rotherham weren’t much to shout about .
Rhodes was fantastic , his link up play keeps improving and some of his flicks through to Rudoni and Holmes were fantastic .
Defensively really solid and think the only types of strikers that back three will truly struggle against are extremely pacy ones .
Rudoni, Kasumu and KKH all look to be developing well - though envisage KKH may be going back imminently ?
Hopefully with the reemergence of Pearson, Hogg and maybe Turton alongside some astute signings such as Lowton we’ll keep on progressing.
Massive month coming up in January with several tough but winnable away games .

I don’t think it’s been mentioned but we could and should have won by more. Ruffels, JR & Rudoni all missed from just a few yards out. We did create more chances last night than we’ve done for some time.

He was put on to break up play and stop them building through the middle, which he did. Plus he was the only striker on the bench. He would have managed better if Thomas had his thinking head on. He was ready to break a few times and Sorba either lost the ball or didn’t get the pass to him. Very hard to judge with these cameos.

We did create more chances last night than we’ve done for some time. Subbing the two JR's (one on a yellow, other ran his socks off) made sense at 2-0 up, the guys that came on didn't look like finding a 3rd goal between them, the 90 mins they will get in FAC should sharpen them up hopefully. Expect it will be a lot tighter game on Sunday & a full 90 mins for most of the regulars if so............but then a fortnight off to recover before Hull away.

I couldn't make the game so watched on Sky's red button. You should have heard the commentator on there! Dont think he knew a single town player except Rhodes and Hogg.. just a continual guess at who had the ball. Helik, Lees and Boyle were totally interchangeable .. dont think he got it right all night!

Not necessarily, he’s been touted out to the other clubs already by the club along with Ward and Holmes. Holmes kisses the badge in front of the south stand yesterday which was a bit of a fuck you.
