If this is true, it is a rumour i heard yesterday to be fair. Knockeart is a top class champ level preformer . Would add huge quaility to town going foward.

Thought he was excellent when at Leicester and Brighton. Would have loved him here at his peak. Seems to have gone off the boil more recently at Fulham and believe he’s been playing in Greece.

Hopefully can add the creative spark we are so badly missing if he signs.

Still has class at this level, yes he may not have the blistering pace he use ot have. But in and around the box he can still cause huge issues with how quick he thinks and his low sense of gravity. He is still a step up from what we have.

If he is anything like 10 years ago, it's an improvement on our badly neglected squad.

As a club we have no hope, if our fans are turning up there noeses at Anthony Knockeart . The lad still has more quaility in him than a lot of our options simple as that . If you are turning up your nose at this guy, then who the hell do you think we should be singing . Messi, ronaldo- Gakpo ? who the hell are town going to sign that would please you and show ambition ? deary me. He played in this league last season , he is still playing in the greek prem so he will be up to speed and like i say still has undouted ability to creat and score goals . Plus the mentaility side of it is key ,players like him and lawton are not use to losing at this level, they will not accept slack and will drive the playerson around them to be better. For me if AK ic coming in its an absoulte no brainer he can still do it , he is what 31 HELLO we have just given Lees a new three year deal, this guy will offfer a lot. The oppisition will be a lot more wary of us with him in the side then currently is the case.

No chance. Ndlovu was different gravy, his pace and skill for those six games we had him was as good as any forward I've seen in a Town shirt. Perhaps the best but it was a small sample of games

The Wolves home game which I think we won 3-0 and Forest away which I think we won 3-1 were largely down to him. Time tends to mess with the mind but I remember feeling like we would win with him playing. Similar to how I always felt we could win with Leon Knight playing

But isn’t that black and white, is it.

If we’re talking peak Knockaert, fine, rant away. But we’re not. The reality is, if you care to take a look, that he hasn’t played even close to 90 mins football in over 1.5 seasons. In fact, barring one game two months ago when he played 72 mins, he hasn’t played more than 45 this season. And last season he made a grand total of 4 appearances in the champ, totalling 31 mins! And let’s not start making out the Greek super league is now some sort of colossus of European football.

His ability isn’t in doubt. So for me, unless someone else comes in, pinning our creative hopes on his fitness is a big gamble.

People saying he is past it are- 30-31

The question people have to ask themselves as fans, btw the answer is we are in the bottom 3. We are also what second lowest goal scorers for a reason, thisi s because in the attacking half we are simply not  good enough. AK is without doubt  a winner at this level , in previous january windows we have signed half fit footballers or guys who have hardly played. If anyone can name a better wide man  , that we can sign i would be shocked.

Heck even in the prem we signed players who aren't as good as this guy, they cost more aswell . I never thought i would see the day where this player woudl be linked too us and people would be like i don't know . The phrase "pick him up and dirve him here " should be what we are thinking.

Yes but the problem is we sign half fit footballers, or players haven't played much because they are  not good enough or have had real history of been injury prone to death .

When this player is fit and has  played numerous season of 30-plus games per season, he is quaility at this level. Tow fans seem want good players, but those that are playing week in week out for other clubs, but hwo can we do this when we are all in agreement that we are  a little club with a little budget ? at least we are trying to sign a player that when fit will produce and add to the forward line of the club.

Haha! That’s the fucking same excuse for all the players we’ve signed who are crocks; we’re not going to sign them and say ‘no matter, even when they’re fit they’re going to be ineffectual’. We get it. You fucking love him. But you’re arguing more with yourself than anyone else - you could condense all your thoughts into three sentences in post.

He’s not even ‘half-fit’ looking at his stats. He’d struggle to get through a third of the time on this division.

But you can’t deny the lads crocked. Clearly. Otherwise he’d be in a better team in a better league playing more more football and we wouldn’t get close. The appearances tell you this. Nobody is debating his ability. But it’s clearly a massive gamble to pin all our creative hopes on him.

The point i am making , is we are linked with this player who has proved himself at this level. The first thing we do is talk about injuries etc but can anyone think of any better options out there who would even talk to us?

The second point is we have signed some players who were injury pone to death throughout there career, even when fit they did not have the same effect as this fella does. We persisted with players  who even when fit were not worth it , He has still played a fair few games in the last two seasons , this isn't a player  who has just come back from a major injury or something.

Plus to be fair to your point , we struggle to keep players fit as the best of time, Our medical team need to be thinking about what we do, hogg comes back and  plays 4 games and his calf goes again. What strength and actual conditioning goes at at Huddersfield town? so yes i understand the concern , but i have seen some of the names linked to us and you think omg even when fit he is rubbish .
