Then the club saying we were unlucky with injuries for the 57th time. When in reality it was obvious from the start that getting a 31 year old that’s played twice in two years and making him climb Mount Everest as a match day warmup wasn’t a good idea.

We are in talks with Knockaert but will struggle to get the deal done as Town want Fulham to pay majority of his wage.

Yeah none of them signed because there was either other teams interested with more money than town have or town didn't go any further than enquiring about the players.

Other than a phone call possibly having taken place, can’t see this one ever having had any legs. If he came and: a) played more games than he was injured for, b) looked anything like the player he was several seasons ago, after all he’s still only 31, c) created chances and got people out of their seats, then all good. More Grant Holt than Jason Puncheon essentially otherwise it’s just another waste of time.
