If we can get the ball to him, in the spaces between the defence and midfield then he still has qhat is required to create. Teams will still be nervous of him and he will drag players out of position , as teams will try and double team him, which will free space up for others if nothing else. He has a very creactivy eye for a pass and can do things unexpected which is what we need, we need that air of unpredictablility .

Like how it says 'Still just 31' on the official site....but to be fair it's a decent signing.

Good signing in my opinion, something for the opposition to think about and hopefully create a few more chances from open play. Certainly worth a punt.

I don’t think his ability is in doubt. My concern is his fitness; let’s hope and pray he’s a) fit and b) we can keep him fit. As I’ve said, he’s only played more than 45 mins once in 1.5 seasons.

Even if he's half the player he was four or five years ago, he's still twice as good as anything we've already got in the creativity stakes.

Maybe a player with a little bit to prove after no-takers pre-season, other than some Greek side.
Experienced.
Caused us a few headaches whenever he played against us.
Hopefully it works out for him and us, only time will tell.
Surely Tino must be going back to Chelsea now. ?

For once in along time I'm happy with a signing, yes he's had his injuries but he's one hell of a player, We've done well here I'm sure others were interested and if there was no doubt over fitness I'm sure he wouldn't be here. Others concerns could be our gain, I'm absolutely convinced he'll we will win more games with him than without him, so for me it's a great signing

My mate who is a fulham season ticket holder said he’s dreadful, but let’s hope he can reinvent himself at the age of 31! For me, it’s shades of Puncheon during the relegation season, but I’d be more than happy to eat humble pie if I’m wrong.

This, the Lowton signing and to a lesser extent suggests that the ownership (whatever situation we are in) are really committed to staying in the league. The sale of the club is absolutely dependent on our league position. With more than one interested party, all have stated that we must remain in the championship for them to be interested. If we go down, it’ll be beyond terrible for the club.

Has the fact these parties indicating that they will walk away, if we are relegated , has that made DH invest to keep us up? is there more to come ?

They’re used to seeing some real talent close up, we aren’t.

It’s as I posted above. We have to stay in this league. Have to.

I've never heard of the team he's at in Greece but why would you swap their weather to come to freezing cold, wet Yorkshire and a club that have all on to avoid relegation 🤔

Statement of intent to fight to stay up. Like with all signings, ridiculous to write.a player off until we’ve seen him in action. From seeing him previously, he’s direct , skilful and will win loads of free kicks. Looking forward to watching him.

It’s as I posted above. We have to stay in this league. Have to. Well the quaility of Lowton and AK will defo help wit hthat. If we can add a few more such as a left back and maybe a creative central player of simliar quaility then i think we will be fine to be honest.

But that's what we saw of him 3 or 4 years ago, he seemingly did nowt at Forest and has barely played in the last season and a half.

Looks like a trend here. My mates a Fulham fan and he says he is dreadful . Kamberi. My mates a Wednesday fan and he says he’s dreadful. Let’s hope neither get a run in first team bearing how bad they are!
