If the not celebrating the goal is bollocks that someone's made up, fair enough I apologise. I would say that holding a banner showing contempt to the board, is a protest though. Really good atmosphere second half I thought. Clip of the goal from Twitter with view of Cowshed… That was a really shit bit of goalkeeping, to be honest.

The ‘protect Hoyle at all costs’ cabal don’t care much about facts or who they try throw under the bus The club gets run into the ground and it’s the fan’s fault for moaning about it. Which fan? Name him.

I'm really not sure that calling people names (clowns) actually helps anything, although I do understand the frustration.
Looking from a distance DH looks disenfranchised with everything and everyone at the moment. I can only think that any insults will only increase that apparent sense of feeling. What we all need, DH included, is a fresh start and a change of direction.
Without going over old ground our situation was as a result of actions, directly or indirectly (ie the decision to sell to PH), that DH is ultimately accountable for. As I have said before those decisions weren't malicious as such but they have resulted in the outcome we are currently experiencing.
It appears, despite the PR rhetoric that we are available to buyers for £1, DH is trying to secure the best deal for himself. Buyers, are naturally, looking for the lowest possible agreement.
What I would like to see is DH to come to a deal ASAP. He needs to accept that the agreement he will reach is likely to be less than he may have been able to secure in the past eg a year ago when the Evans rumours were around.
If that can happen, and it may now be too late to save this season, the new faces can set their agenda and look to move forward.
Tonight relegation is more likely than not so the deal needs to reflect this. I appreciate these deals cannot be moved quickly but we need an eye on next season already. Prolonging any change damages us in the longer term.
Egos and sensitivities aren't important, the future of the club is. It's time for a change.

Not a Hoyley bot mate (whatever the feck one of those is??) My name is Andy Shuter, and im a life long Town fan since 1978. If a “hoyleybot” is someone who supports our chairman, then yes i suppose I am then. Ive also been a Hodgekinsonbot, a David Taylorbot, a Davybot, a Ruberybot, a Terry Fisherbot a Geoff Headybot, right back to a Keith Longbottombot. Cos whatever your views on these guys and their methods, i know all of them genuinely wanted to best for out club and in most cases, put up their hard earned cash to back it up. Sorry if youve had your head up somewhere it should’nt have been, but you really weren’t away of any protests??? I thought I recognised your name. A tad hypocritical from you?? www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/huddersfield-town-fans-plan-teeshirt-4960682Hoyle’s henchmen get everywhere! Fair play to Charlie, had a go at the fans, slagged off Big Phil and massaged Hoyle’s colon in a few short paragraphs!! A bit out of order backing the man over those backing the club though.

Ah, but that was a pro-Hoyle protest 😉 Completely different scenario, as you well know I know it was, but he helped lead a pro Hoyle protest and is against one aimed at the clubs hierarchy now. Seems odd.

Completely different scenario, as you well know I know it was, but he helped lead a pro Hoyle protest and is against one aimed at the clubs hierarchy now. Seems odd. Not really. He backs Hoyle. Davy was draining the club back then and Hoyle was a positive change. Now we have Hoyle reaching the end if his tether and actively looking for a new owner who has sufficient finances and backbone.

Davy held the club to ransom over the stadium shares. He refused to return them until he got the £2m back he’d invested whilst taking us from admin in L2 to mid table in L1. Completely different to Hoyle demanding £50m back, keeping shares in the club, personal ownership of Canalside, transfer income, parachute payments and taking us from a playoff final to the bottom 3 in 9 months.

To be quite honest the pair of them are behaving like clowns. It's equivalent of those idiot waring neighbours. Who go to court over a garden hedge. With both ending up losing their home paying legal costs.

The grim reality is, even if we mange to scrape survival this season, it will only mean MF will be our manager next season on the back of such an achievement..and we'll have another season of disorganised chaos to look forward to in 2023/24... I'm trying to remember when we've looked so disorganised as we did yesterday...

I thought the banner got it about right, it expressed the frustration many of us feel about the shambles our club has become without being vicious or threatening which protests often are. Good work.
To those owning and running the club - we're disappointed and thought you were much better than this.

Orcus being the Roman god of the underworld, and punisher of broken oaths. Maybe it was deliberate, referring to our many dealings with Mr Marinakis

I think the only way it may happen is if our club stature falls sufficiently for a Dundee scaffolding boss to take over, who then thinks it’s a good place for his wee laddy to act out his fantasy of being a highly respected football coach.

Everyone knows what it said. Hoyle’s supporters have given it infinitely more exposure by re-posting it all over social media thinking they are being funny. In many ways, they are daft clints.

Huge respect for the protest yesterday from CL. Took all of 48 seconds before bursting out into Blue and White Army. The level of restraint to hold out for that long was incredibly impressive.

We're an odd fanbase, aren't we.
*Almost* universal agreement that the current goings on aren't acceptable and that answers are needed. A group of fans make it known that there is discontent. How do many of us respond? Take digs at that group of fans.
Never known a fanbase so eager to seek disagreement among itself. Perhaps I'm naive to how things go on at other clubs!

Nah, it just think we’re naive about what’s going on and what to do about it. And their banner was as tinpot/misguided as their threats for action and to express their ‘thoughts’. You can’t criticise the club, including MF, and then show no difference and not expect criticism. Yes we’re alll frustrated. But that doesn’t mean we are all agreed on how to express it or where. And I wouldn’t take the microcosm of DATM to be a barromoter for all things at the club.
