The 1979-80 team were in attendance today too. I feel for them... having to watch that atrociousness. 2 words. Corporate Hospitality… 😉 Softens the blow in my experience…

What a difference one year makes. Town beat Peterborough 3-0 one year ago today to extend our unbeaten run in League and Cup to 19 games .
The win put us onto 62 points , double what we have today !!

At this moment in time it wouldn't have been a bad idea to have cheap tickets to get as many into the stadium on Tuesday as possible. Yes, things look pretty hopeless and dire at the moment but one win and three points could change things pretty quickly. You would have to pay me to go Tuesday. Night matches are a pain for me working in Leeds anyway. A dreadful team, almost guaranteed disappointment and minus 5 temps aren't helping. Which is why there needs to be a huge incentive to get fans into the stadium. The fact that this doesn't seem to be happening just gives the impression that those running the club have just lost their interest and belief.

It shows how much of a bunch of cowards they are, that non of them were interviewed after the game. Told you mate some of these players are real scum and are cancer within the club. They need paying up and fucking off asap . Child molesters, rapists, murderers, wife beaters are scum. Have a day off wum. no i stick by my term of scum, they have lost 4-0 in the last two games for a reason its because they have no heart no desire and are just taking the money . That is scum behaviour in my book, they are insluting my football club by wearing the badge, this season has shown how little of a shit they give for my football club.

It really fucking grated on me when the first thing the half time announcer (who is now about as funny as a dose of Ebola) said was a thinly veiled criticism of the fans. What, precisely, did he expect the crowd to be like, given the team selection and the first half display? Like a Champions League night at Galatasaray in the mid 90s? Absolute cretin. Maybe it was the misery of that first half performance but I felt the same. Those awful dizzy penalties are starting to grate on me as well. The thing is there was a time we would have. I can remember games being 2 goals down and still out singing the opposition supporters. We are all in a low place but you can’t slag the announcer off for trying. We stick together. Myself and the folk around me were really pissed off at the way we gave the goals away but by the end we were joking about it. It felt better than being angry. I think the crowd were resigned to the defeat after the first goal and many there were resigned to relegation now. We need to rebuild. We need to get away from a failed system with a new owner who can hopefully get a squad which isn’t just players past their prime with youngsters too far off theirs. That will hopefully be the future but I don’t see the need for the vitriol and unpleasantness some posters seem happy to unleash.

In the prem i could accept it as we were against top oppo's but this season no way, we are jsut a shambels and got players who when the going gets tough give up. they are scum for giving up they are not allowed to give up, they shouldn't be paid for today or last week. What does oru club stand for again? they do not respresent us in any single way - they are not working class or terrier like in any single way. they fain injury they dip out of tackles , they give up ....should i go on they are exactly what we do not want or ever want at our football club.

Those who tried properly today were the kids. Diarra never stopped. Hungbo once again looked like the one to make something happen. High, for all his detractors, didn't hide unlike others.
I was absolutely furious with the so-called senior professionals. Helik's head went as soon as he made his mistake. Lees just looked like a little boy lost. Lowton barely broke sweat. Hogg - and this one hurts, considering his service - is done at a professional level; his body has had enough. But what stood out was how little leadership they offered. Bilokapic made a huge mistake for the second, but where was the senior pro coming over to get him off the floor? Every single one of them had heads down, ignoring each other. None of them took responsibility. When the kids out there were at least showing for the ball, battling (even if it was ineffectual) they were being left by senior professionals who should have been showing leadership. That fourth goal put High up against Gyokeres. They had lads busting a gut to get forward - at 3-0 up in the 93rd minute. Our centre-backs were jogging back. No desire whatsoever, just wanting to be elsewhere.
Players make mistakes. I can accept that. I can accept players being caught wrong side or switching off for a second to let someone run off them, because at the end of the day they're human. I can accept a missed backpass resulting in a goal. I can't accept that lack of leadership and professionalism. One of our first priorities in the summer is to get players in who would run through brick walls for each other and who fight for each other. That today was a set of individuals at best.

The fact Rudoni replaced O’Brien(who is light years ahead regardless of his Forest situation) is one of the various actions that somes up and explains why we are where we are. I don’t blame Warnock, deep down I don’t blame MF or DS either, this is bigger than all of them. He didn't. Kasumu replaced LOB. Fair enough, same point applies.

Someone stated earlier " it's just a game", but it isn't is it, it is history, it is a symbol of the Town it is part of the weave of life within the town of Huddersfield, it is the stuff of dreams and despondency, it is what motivates so many kids to start playing football. It is jobs for quite a few people, it is pride and passion, it's rivalry and bragging rights, it is the talk of every playground in Huddersfield on Monday, it is what my dad gave to me and I gave to my son and daughter and have now given to my grandson, it is part of the history of my family and a thousand memories personally of games gone by over the last 50 years. It is the thousdands it has cost many fans for many years. Above all else it is about time our team realised it is all of the above and more, they need to undertsand it is not just a game and a pay packet, Huddersfield Town mean so much more to us , because when they have gone it is still our team, always will be. We need players who understand this and wnat to die for the shirt. Relegation beckons , but lets go down with a fight please, not the kind of simpering terrible football we saw today.

I think that the crowd were just shocked when the team was announced.
The announcer did not grasp that we all thought that the game was lost before it was kicked off.

Phoned my father who is approaching 92 and the first thing he said was, "Ohhhh... what would my father say?". My grandfather started watching them when they entered the league in 1908 and went to every home game. This got me thinking... these players have let down, the fans, ex players, the town of Huddersfield, and even the long dead... they must be turning in their graves. What a shambles. The 1979-80 team were in attendance today too. Aye and they’d have won four nil too against this shower of shit. I have a Pilates class on a Tuesday and I won’t be cancelling it this week. Expect a completely changed starting eleven for the first game of next season.

A even first half spoiled by a shit back pass instead of kicking a bouncing ball the way you are facing. Not sure what was said at half time. Came out looking like we didnt understand the game or had met before. Farcical non defending from a team that always has enough shirts goalside. Game lost and team lost. Warnock mustnt have seen Hamer play 90 minutes unmarked, because everyone else did. Not sure there is a move on from today? It wasn't even in the first half. They were far better than us. I dont think so. The first goal as bad as it was and would be written off by a team doing better, was key. Like I said, no idea about the early bits of the second half, the lack of awareness and team work, communication was shocking, even for us. Coventry looked ordinary first half till the goal, it was a very ordinary game. We go behind and any actual discipline that was there just fades away. 3 managers, the commin denominators for this farce are wearing the shirts. Its not losing, its how badly we can lose that hurts..

Exactly my point sio, the club say they need us. fans can chant and that as much as they want, if the players do not want it then they dont' want it . In the prem we were out of our league simple as with the squad , this season that is not the case. The players do not have the heart and desire to compete and get results, it is that simple . The so called leaders in the squad have gone missing , yet last season when thigns were good the leaders were there yet this season nowhere . Behind the scenes might be up in the air, yet the players are getting paid nothings has changed for them in terms of their liveley hodds. I have seen town sides, not get paid and never ever give up , play when they weren't getting paid etc , yes they weren't good neough but they tried. Totday i saw a town side who just gave up like last week, that is simply not good enough and should never be good enough .

they are scum he is correct Oh look the wums are out. Can someone ban this clown? Hogg stole his wages today, pointing isnt working in my book. The lack of a physical challenge for lots of the game isnt allowed either. 3 managers cant get em to break sweat does not say much for the players. You never 'give away a game' for me, I dont accept it, whatever Warnock says or excuses he came out with. Scum may be a tad over the top. Half arsed, wage stealers, perhaps?
