I'd love to know why Reading are so shit, despite rinsing the arse out of the FFP regulations on a yearly basis. That takes some skill. Paul Ince. |

If I had a fiver for every time i've seen reports that the decision 'coming soon....'.
We've had this for a month now, Ince must have said it 4 times....
Don't know why the EFL can't get the evidence right first time, so there's no need for a discussion about it, after all, the ref is always right, yes ? If clubs want to appeal then they should risk a doubling of the penalty points if they are unsucessful. That'll test their resolve and likely quicken up the process.
I've said this for years, not just for that, but for spurious appeals of cards as well; spurious appeal fails, double the punishment. I also think the same for criminal appeals in court but that's an entirely different thread. |

I'd rather stay up without a 'helping hand', but rules are rules ! As others have mentioned QPR look the team in freefall and can't buy a win, Ainsworth must be wishing he'd stayed at Wycombe. In our position, you take anything you can get. Absolutely, but it would be sweeter to do it under our own steam. |

Now that you mention it, I DO recall something in the press about this. I mainly just added that to add an instance of something else other than finances that should be hit with more punishment for a spurious appeal. Couldn't think of owt else off the top of my head  |

Me as well 3Pipe but here’s to Tesco Reading as every little helps ! Their run in looks not too bad but who knows how this will affect them - if nothing else it increases the pressure and they have accepted it and won’t be appealing it so everyone knows where we stand ! There’s one Reading fan here, he is a shareholder in the pub a five minute walk up the road... he is also a really good lad, but I might just have to nip up for 3pm opening for at least a pint a point ! 😊 |

Not that long ago I was most definitely in the pessimist club, thinking it was perm 1 from 3 at best. This and the subsequent drop in form from QPR has lifted my spirits a little. We should be mindful of the boost this will also give Wigan and Blackpool. A rip roaring end to the season looms… 🤞🤞🤞 |

So at last, we have 4 clubs above us now who are within 3 points of us, a couple have goal differences similar to our own..
We have a chance...I hope the players 'take that chance'.....

The EFL thanked Reading for their transparency and assistance, but the claim for 300k from them for tea and biscuits at the meeting was rejected.😉

It really feels like circumstances are swaying in our favour a bit, doesn't it? Wigan and Reading losing points, QPR continuing to collapse, our own uptick in form, the ownership issue hopefully on the way to being sorted...
We've been handed/reached for a lifeline when all seemed lost a few weeks ago. Please don't f***ing blow it now, boys!
