And theyre the ones I call entitled. Agree with the rest, other than Im not sure the club is worth nothing. It'll have a value even if were a L1 club next season. Your argument on this is absolutely flawed. Not a single soul on here feels that they personally are entitled to Dean Hoyles money, not one. What they are saying is that the football club, Huddersfield Town ARE entitled to it. Why? Because he decided to buy us and laud himself as the new saviour " You buy the tickets I'll buy the players". When you take over a football club you become the person responsible for its finances. Too damn right as a season ticket holder of a Championship club I expected championship quality players, not league 1 and 2 shit. You really think I meant that they personally feel entitled to his money.. like into their own bank account ?

His business going down the pan was fuck all to do with COVID anyway. a multi million pound business built on exploiting a legal loophole, with no contingency plan for when the loophole closed! Just about sums the guy up. Useless.

Course it is if he is the owner and he put himself there. None of us fans did, he willingly chose to do that.

Doubt many on here would put up with that from their kid but thats how they act when it comes to Hoyles money. he put himself up to be the owner ( thankfully and the clubs had a great spell in its history as a result ).. well how much of his money do you think that entitles the club to? Is there a figure on that or is it just a perpetual 'lots more' ? Last summer he should have offered to double his input if the fans agreed to do the same... because the football club is entitled to the fans money aswell !

It would be typical town to go into administration and suffer the associated points deduction, then accumulate enough points to have stayed up without the administration points deduction. This is 100% what I expect to happen 😂 You clearly haven’t been watching us play much 😀

Give it up slaps, you buy a business and then build it up and improve it you can expect to get a profit. Take the same business to back to where you found it but with an added in big debt included you will be very lucky to get out with anything. You really have taken the "entitled" thing to heart.

I can completely understand why you think the fans are entitled for seeing Toffolo replaced with Ruffells and O Brien replaced with Rudoni though. How fucking privileged we are.

It’s never boring being a Town fan is it.I just want a club I can say I’m a proud fan of again. We appear to be going down in a tonne of flames, headlong into the financial abyss. I really couldn’t blame any potential buyers for looking at things currently and thinking ‘no chance’. That’s what worries me, that the ongoing wrangling is cutting off a lifeline of us being sold to start again. And to think it’s two decades since we were in administration. We never expected this to happen again. When will we and other football clubs, learn. 😞 I can think of quite a few 90 minute segments of a week over the last few years that have been beyond boring

I know nothing about the goings on at the club internally, same as the rest of fans don't, but investing in a football club is not exactly a money making venture, he threw the cash about in the early days and stated he didn't expect it back. I like the bloke, have never met him, have respect for what he has done for his team, I myself like him,i have had life changing illness also and it's not nice. Mistakes have been made big style in the boardroom, anyone who takes on a football club must realise they are likely to lose money?, especially in this circus footy has become.

Yes, there's a high level of spend associated with being a Premier League club 🤷♂️ Brighton, a club that got promoted when we did, currently sit carrying debt of over £300m despite obviously seeing far more income than we have since then. Just for accuracy, we do own our training facility.. just not the land its on. At the risk of being rude what bloody good is that?!

Come on, people pointing out the poor decisions and the issues in the club management for years now have had to put up with "entitled".The shit appears to be coming to a crisis point soon, just bear =it. No they havent. People feeling they are entitled to Hoyles money in the club as a gift and for him to pump in loads more on top have been. Its not entitlement capn....its believing the words he uttered repeatedly several yrs ago...... i.e. he was comfortable funding 4-5m pa and never expected a penny back. Dean is perfectly entitled to get his money back as you keep saying...... however nobody can doubt that the change in approach seen has created huge problems for the club. The change also goes against all he stood for repeatedly during his early tenor - i.e. hes a custodian only and would only sell to counterparties who could clearly take it further than he was able.

Yes that's them.

The answer is in the question. Administrators! largely scum of the earth, charge a man with no money a fortune and pay the creditors the pittance that remains. Yep not a fan think that's a bit harsh tbh...the Adminstrators have a legal obligation to recoup as much money as possible to pay the creditors as much as possible. There's players/staff wages, HMRC, local suppliers, then last of all loans by the owner. Pure Ltd should be up to date on payroll costs you'd hope, HMRC hopefully, but have local suppliers all been paid.?.. If Pure sports owe Pure Group some money than the Adminstrator has to get that repaid in full...if Pure Sports don't have spare cash, but hold the 75% shareholding in HTAFC, then those shares would have to be liquidated I guess, same way as any business would have to cash in any investments it has , to pay it's creditors off.
But, who wants to buy the 75% shareholding, and how much are they worth ? This again will be the Adminstrator trying to get the best deal possible..he/she has no axe to grind, no passion for Town in particular...as they said in The Godfather, 'it's just business'. This , I think, is the problem...because firstly Pure Sports (PH) will want at least what he paid for them, if not more, while Dean won't want to pay much at all, considering he's personally kept the club afloat for 18 months...I guess the 3rd option is offering the shares on the 'open market'...to see if that pulls in more cash than what's on offer. that effectively pushes DH and PH out of the negotation and while PH might be relatively happy to get the best price possible, Dean will be shitting bricks about his £35m of loans...it's complicated, I've wandered down this road of speculation not knowing where it ends...but any 3rd party wanting to offer the Adminstrator money for the 75% (majority) shareholding doesn't need DH's 25% shares, but would need to talk to him about the £35m wouldn't he ?
I'm glad this isn't my life, stuck in this nightmare but I'd love to know the truth of what's going on.
A bit harsh but they earn monumental fees , if they can't see their fees being paid it's to the state. I have seen alot in action liquidating or administrating derelict debtors. Ki have seen too many deals done with phoenix entities because it was easy. Less so nowadays but still the same breed

Since we gained promotion in May 2017 we received over £375,000,000 in Premier league TV Money, Prize money & Equal Share, Parachute payments and player sales (OK not all of that has been received yet). Add in the other income we've had since then and it'll be £450m+ £450,000,000 coming into the club in just under 6 years and there's talk of Administration!! Indeed the first mention of Administration was October/November 2021 in those program notes. Well done to all involved When you put it like that it is actually pretty impressive really

You are absolutely correct that there is a high level of spend associated with being a premier league club and pretty much every single Premier League and Championship club have massive debts. But come on......£450,000,000 has been received in the last 6 seasons and we're discussing the possibilities of the club going into Administration. DH stated back in Oct/Nov of 2021 that the club would have gone into Administration had he not stepped back in If, the day after the Wembley final win I'd have told you that in November 2021 would be reading program notes containing the words, Administration being a real possibility or that on 9th March 2023 you'd be on DATM reading about and commenting on a thread linking Town with Administration, you'd be telling me I was crazy and DH would ensure that going into the PL would set the club up for years.......I think most of us would. Yes we had to spend a lot to try and compete in the Premier League. But honestly did you think you'd be here today reading about and commenting on a thread about Administration? The people who have presided over the running of the club over the last 6 years have not done the best of jobs really......Or perhaps you think differently? The figures just don't add up, never have. I'll get my calculator out tomorrow & try fathom it out seen as tho I am fecking snowed in 🤯

I have read the posts on this thread and looking at the amount of money that has been reported by some as passing through the club it just seems incredible that we are in the position we are in today.
The actual figures and the accuracy will be open to argument, but the figures once clarified will not make for happy reading for us fans.
Some posters say that Dean is "entitled" to his money back, so I have been giving this a little thought.
Dean bought a company and invested some money in it and took it to new hights. Since then he has taken this company back to where he found it, but now it has a large debt that the company can no longer manage on its new much lower turnover.
On this basis I can not see how he can get his money back if we do return to League 1, if he is "entitled" to it or not.
So how can he get his money back if this is where we end up?
The only way I can think he will be able to do that is to invest in the club and get it back in to the Championship. This can be done but is not guaranteed and based on our last visit to League 1 it can take years to do this and the desire for someone to purchase a championship club in 10years may be dramatically different to what it is currently. The danger would be if the top six clubs in the Premiership disappear in to some European competitive league. If the most greedy of the greedy league do disappear the knock effect on value of Championship clubs would be for them to take a big dive in perceived value and lower TV money.
For Dean to get his money back will not depend on his "entitlement" but down to hard commercial realism of the business world and a lot of luck.

Seen is post and tweets about , Matt Southall, Christian Cordoba and mani Lopez are looking to purchase the club with Paul Richardson (the guy who fucked Birmingham over), the money is borrowed from a hedge fund in the states that is funded by a South American hedge fund. I think it’s totally bollocks especially with what Richardson did at Birmingham at the start of the season
