It's in our own hands now!! We are more than capable of beating all the teams we have yet to play Why we should fear playing the blades at our place on a Thursday night under the lights with 24k in the ground is beyond me A playoff atmosphere with only one team having anything left to play for... Can't wait I can't wait either, as the situation is right now, the Sheff Utd game could well be the easiest & our best option of getting that all-important win.

I’m beginning to think a Rotherham win might just put the shits up Cardiff as after we play them they have 1 away game left and we have 2 at home Wouldn’t it be better if they beat Rotherham and are all but safe for our our game? Not sure. Playing under the pressure of possible relegation is not easy. And they don’t have Warnock in the dressing room.

We could do with Sory Kaba getting a red, he’s been a big factor in their performances recently (despite his penalty miss yesterday).

QPR get 1 win in how many games, and shoot up the league,we lose 1 in 7 and still stuck 1 above the bottom 3... Burnley are a fucking disgrace!

Talk of deducting points from Burnley as punishment for putting a weakened side out against Reading could doubly screw us. Reading got a point and mean Sheff U still have something to play for. That would just sum up our season.

Sheffield need 2 points to secure promotion, with home games on 26th v WBA and 29thv PNE, before meeting us 4th May.. Both WBA and PNE are sniffing a play off spot but still expect Utd to be up before they play us with their reserves/academy lads/ under 16's....

That would just sum up our season. they won't deduct points...but how does that address the issue of the 3 clubs who've gained points because of it ? It shouldn't need Town complaining, the EFL should be 'on it' after game 1, now they've played 3 games with a weakened side. The EFL know the teams picked an hour before kick off but in any case should be telling Burnley not to do it again...The damage is done now anyway but who gets punished ultimately will be the 22nd placed side at the end of the season who might be one point short...and that could well be Town. The EFL are clueless tbh, takes ages to do anything, often too long after the event to have any effect..

It’s annoying that having only lost twice all season that they are putting out weak team and performances. But they’ve earned the right to do as they want We are where we are because we’ve been garbage for much of the season. We’ve 3 games left and it’s in our hands. If we blow it from here then we’ve only ourselves to blame

Find it a bit bizarre that Town have complained. We stand to gain nothing from complaining and our current CEO or whatever he is, is very strongly connected with Burnley.

We’ve had 43 games so far to get up the table, the fact we haven’t isn’t down to Burnley rotating their squad, it’s down to a lot of things closer to home.

Town probably complained before yesterday, Burnley then put a full strength team out and still lost. Nothing will happen but it was probably just a shot across the bows because we of all teams know you can’t weaken your first XI.

We are where we are because of how how we have played this season, they had the luxury to rotate because of how they have played.
It’s frustrating but we will all be delighted if Sheffield United play their second team against us and the others teams will be complaining if we pick up points from that one.

Indeed, but we're commenting on the fact Town have complained..and yes, against QPR 5 of the regulars were brought back in for their first game in 3 weeks, but the momentum had been lost with the 5 changes and 2 draws against lower table clubs... Burnley would have won all 3 of those games if they'd kept the same side that beat Sheffield Utd..but I don't think it's an excuse for Town tbh...just galling looking at how tight it is at the bottom and realising it could well be decided on one point.. grasping at straws...I know..

Its likely Rotherham & Cardiff could both win on Saturday, then a point each when they meet a week tonight would be enough.......A predictable 0-0 I suspect. no its not Talk about fine margins at 1-1 Cardiff miss a pen & Rotherham hit the post with 5 minutes left, I did back them both & still think a draw is likely on Thursday........but you were right yesterday.

I watched all the Burnley game yesterday and they went all out to win,it just showed how far away from being a good Premier league team they are, they need to spend a large fortune to compete next season.

Take their corruption and let us mere mortals get back to this being more of a level playing fields. TV and betting companies will still want to be involved, even without the ‘big’ clubs there. The thing is, these fuckers will still influence our game as the FA are in the trough with those shysters. So we won’t see these sides excluded from the FA Cup etc. Everything is geared towards these clubs. Large benches, 5 subs, moving towards no replays in the cup, fielding weakened teams until it matters. They’ve shat on all the romanticism that used to be in the game.

Quite a few who played yesterday for Burnley will already know they are not part of the premier league plan. Those brought in, in the previous game were not a big part of their championship plans so will already know they are moving on. The mindset changes but in reality they should have easily won both games but shitloads of bad/good luck and some bravery from QPR was the key to the results. We need at least a win and a draw from 2 home games and an away game against a team in trouble with us. If we cant then we are in serious trouble, no matter who Burnley turn out.

I expect the blades to be up when they play us but there are no guarantees. Then there will be the 'team' selections for the guaranteed play off contenders for the last couple of regular season games? There are 2 spots definitely still up for grabs.. Runaway leaders and the play offs are a combination that can make a mockery of the business end of the season. No bellyaching 3 games to get results for ourselves, fuck everyone else. UTT..

They’ll probably have a tougher game on Wednesday now as a result of Sunderland winning today at WBA as this will be West Brom’s last chance to get into the play offs ! If they do have to their 44th match v Preston then they might down tools for their visit to Town... That said the sooner they secure promotion the better !

If Luton & Middlesbrough draw tomorrow, then the Blunts are as good as promoted because their goal difference is 12 better than Luton's
