You have to laugh, Reading accusing anybody of cheating, let's remind ourselves, point deductions imposed by EFL, 'Pot calling Kettle black.' - UTT. The bloke calling us cheats is a posh fan.

I've got a theory - that's probably a load of nonsense - that: - Burnley know they're champions, it's a matter of "when" and not "if" - they knew those last two games (Reading and Rotherham) were winnable, but felt it didn't matter in the scheme of things - and they were away from home - they knew that they could clinch the title at home to QPR - clinching the title at home is probably better for the fans, no? - so they coasted through these last two games, deliberately playing a bunch of reserves - ...so that they can seal it by thrashing QPR at Turf Moor - which they undoubtably will All this assumes, of course, that Vincent Kompany doesn't really care about who gets relegated. I know, I know - that part is a bit of a stretch. Maybe they want to win the title at Ewood Park.

It’s already been an issue - www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21594636/burnley-plan-guard-of-honour-request-blackburn/amp/

It was Grand National day, won by Gay Trip.

Only Betway and Betfair offering odds on championship relegation. Betway have both QPR (shortening) and Reading (drifting) at 6-4 and Town at 5-2 and Betfair have QPR 13-10, Reading 6-4 and Town 27-10. Allowing for the bookies' margin, which I'm guessing at - (where's Otium when you need him?) - the true chance of us going down is about one in four.

Its still in our hands and can be only come down to poor results if town are relegated
This couldbe decided on GD and vital we keep our heads above water in our last 3 matches
Think Q P R will be relegated mainly as showing very poor form at present compared to others around them and poor GD
Lets hope Sheff Utd are on the beach by the time we play them as this might make a difference to how WARNOCKS YORKSHIRE FRIENDS play

The same way we beat Millwall, Boro and Watford following a run of 1 win in 13. Not saying it will happen, but we can't discount any of the teams below us going on a mad run We didn’t appoint a hippy as a new manager though 😉 Mosher/Rocker/Metalhead, not hippy. Big difference as I kept trying to tell the piss-takers at school Still looks to be out of his depth at this level though.

Coventry and Burnley both have big incentives to win Saturday. I’ll feel slightly better if they do what they should on Saturday.
As mentioned before you could make an argument for wanting Cardiff to win even though i don’t agree.

Yeah, that's what my old man (before joining up he was a long-hair [granddad's description]) described himself as. His brother, being a Mod, had other words and vice versa

Taking a more optimistic view, if either of Reading or QPR lose their next 2 games, then a win at Cardiff will do it. That would mean a GD survival against QPR, but we’d be 4 pts above Reading. All if’s, but’s and maybe’s of course. Some tetchy times ahead over the next 10 days… It is beginning to shape into a 1 from 3 position again though. It would obviously have been nice for at least Rotherham or Cardiff to still be in it, but I suspect they’ll both be OK now. There’s also the assumption that Wigan and Blackpool don’t win up from here as well. Wigan have certainly got the opportunity to influence things massively, having to play Rotherham and Reading.

Its likely Rotherham & Cardiff could both win on Saturday, then a point each when they meet a week tonight would be enough.......A predictable 0-0 I suspect.

My lad said last night a Reading defeat at Coventry coupled with a Wigan win at home to Millwall would see the Latics having a chance to draw level on points when the visit the Royals next week........Last chance saloon for bottom two this weekend you would think.

It was longer than that in 2000/2001...just saying The treble paid 19/1 with Hills for my tenner. I remember putting the cash aside towards my season ticket. IIRC the odds for us being relegated were something like 12/1, but if you did a treble on the results required it came in at 20/1. I placed a bet on the treble, hoping against hope I would lose that tenner stake, but winning might soften the blow. It didn't.

I did the same and used the winnings to go to the pre-season friendly at Cheltenham - a 0-0 draw.

Footage of Gareth Ainsworth following up The Haka by teaching his players a bit of horticulture.

Wigan & Blackpool look gone. Rotherham & Cardiff play each other & whichever one wins is probably safe.
Out of ourselves, Rotherham, Cardiff, Reading & QPR our run in still looks toughest.
A draw v Cardiff wouldn't be a disaster, but is probably of more use to them than it is to us.

Of course its not over yet and Ainsworth yet might keep them up (although i hope not), but some managers and clubs just seem the perfect fit, that was the case at Wycombe, relegation or promotion (even took them to the championship) it seemed he had a job for life, i dont mind the bloke tbh, but i do hope hes a monumental failure at QPR.

Worrying about what other teams are doing is pointless. Look after our own destiny by taking 4 points from the last three games. That won’t be easy (only 2 out of the last 9) - but that’s what we need to do. 6 games ago we would have bitten somebody’s hand if for this situation. Certainly would, and whats more we're two places above the drop zone (precariously admittedly) and we haven't won in three, after Burnley and Coventry if someone had predicted that you'd have thought silly c**t.

I'd suggest Reading are favourites (to join Blackpool & Wigan who look doomed).
Only marginally though. Absolutely expecting it to go to the final day.
