I'd also like a win for us final day and a 'feel good' performance, show new owners there's something here worth really investing in. Ideally I'd also like Rotherham, Cardiff and QPR results to go in a way that they are all at least 6 points above Reading or with superior goal difference if just 6 points above then there can be no quibbling from Reading on that score about points deduction though they will no doubt say the psychological effect influenced results when it was applied.

Gameday and mixed emotions. Joy from survival when we were dead & buried but sadness with NW & RJ departing. Hoping we can finish on a high and win again! 🔵⚪️🍻🍻🍻💪🏻

Just tried to buy tickets online for myself and my daughter, but can't buy hers because she hasn't got a membership number. It's her first game. No idea what to do. Please can anybody help? TIA I thought that if you have a history of buying tickets that you could buy two tickets. There are some tickets released in lower Riverside. They are in the section next to away end. If you ring club when open I am sure they can help.

Love to finish on a win.
It would be great to finish on a resounding, emphatic win.
But, this being Town....

I’d like two things from today. Our fans to have some class and not to rub Readings noses in it. They were very decent with us at Wembley, so deserve the same back. And secondly, don’t lose. Finish the season positively leaving us a clear 6 points + Goal difference from Reading. I don’t ideally want to stay up just because they financially messed up and got punished with a points deduction. (Just in case Cardiff, Rotherham and QPR pick points up that would put them above us if we were to lose.) I’m gutted that I can’t attend today as I’m working. Sadly with my belief that we were dead and buried back in early April, I’d convinced myself that I wasn’t going to apply for daily leave just to witness us getting relegated. By the time it looked possible that we could in fact save ourselves, it was too late to apply for the day off. Never mind. I hope You all have a wonderful afternoon. It should be a nice party atmosphere. If it’s true that Mr Nagle is in Town, show him first hand what we are about. Send Neil and Ronnie on their way with our eternal gratitude and stay classy. UTT

They could have avoided the points deduction by operating within the terms of the EFL sanctions. For all I feel sorry for their supporters who as many have said on here were (for the most part) very gracious in defeat at Wembley, Reading still tried to seek an unfair competitive advantage by spending more than they were allowed.

Absolutely love the stress free nature of getting up today knowing we are already safe. It’s the most un-Town like feeling.
Hope we win and Warnock gets the send off he deserves. What a ride it’s been this last few months!! Even enjoyed the pre-match early/mid 90s music from Warnock’s first spell which we’ve been playing.

From mid season to present, I was walking away from matches at half time with no confidence of winning matches it was my worst period of watching Town in 50+ years, it was that bad I had reservations of renewing my season ticket, the club was a total mess.
Within a few months Warnock and his crew has instilled and transformed the club,
Let's hope now with a new owner in place, he has the pride to be a member of H.T.F.C, and take the club forward.
Thursday night emotionly was 100 times better than the play off final last year, its why I love football and H.T.F.C.
Today is my day to pay respect to Warnock and his team, what a no bull shit, straight talking guy.

They didn’t try to seek a competitive advantage they have had a competitive advantage for a number of years by cheating and have been punished. Personally I think the punishment should have been much more as feel they have probably got 6 more points over the last 2 seasons that they would have had they kept to the rules and not been able to afford Andy Carroll for example!

A simple message from both camps to the players will be no injuries & no reds, todays referee had no choice when he sent off Tom Lees at Carrow Road for a last man challenge earlier this season, a clean slate for the new Town manager can only be a good thing......training ground game with a result to match, 4-3 Town. UTT.

If Reading aint had that deduction we would all be bricking it now!!. Just have a party today, because the impossible task Mr Warnock was presented has miraculously been achieved and will be talked about for many years to come. It's like my 1st season was 79/80, remember it like it was yesterday, hopefully younger fans in same scenario will remember the memories in 40 years plus!!.

Would be brilliant if we can put in a real show and win comfortably but in the grand scheme of things today is totally irrelevant. It’s all about Neil and the lads achievement over the past few months
Respect to any Royals making the journey today too - would like to think their players/board have put a drink or two behind the bar for them at the ground, but I doubt it.

Today is very relevant, . A full house will include many who are not season ticket holders and may not even have been this season so we need to put on a show to convince some of these to perhaps take a punt on a season ticket for next season.

Reading can't really complain about points deductions. They'd have gone down by a distance last season if it wasn't for Derby's 21 point deduction.
