Keep VAR but put former players in there who actually understand the game No, imagine that spitty twat Carragher on VAR for a Liverpool game? Exactly, a bit like selecting a Jury from prisons.

Elland Road razed to the ground, replaced with a full-scale replica of the Terracotta Army.
...except that every statue would have the face of Neil Warnock.

The name Football should be changed to Soccerball. This would prevent confusion with other sports such as American Football and Rugby Football. This would also be helpful to our new owners who possibly thought they were buying an NFL or Rugby team. Soccer is an English term. It’s short for Association Football. The toffs brought in the term over a century ago to differentiate it from Rugby Football, which was shortened to Rugger. I remember in the 60s and 70s grabbing the ball and going to the rec to play “soccer” wi me mates; that’s what we called it in Sally Nook. These days everyone thinks it’s only an American word. And has been explained on here many, many times

Defenders allowed to foul/obstruct as much as they like when ushering the ball out for a goal kick.VAR is clearly the biggest disgrace in years. Disagree with this one. If the defender isn't actively playing the ball as it runs out but actively preventing the attacker from getting to it then, in my view, they are 'impeding the progress of the attacker'. Under the Laws of the Game (Law 12) this should be an indirect free kick. I think this would help create more goal chances either through more free kicks in and around the box or alternatively defenders having to play the ball whilst under pressure. Beat me to it. Used to be pulled up for obstruction when we did it in the 80s. Unless the attacker had already whipped our legs out from under us for obstructing him

Stop playing FA Cup semi finals at Wembley.
Get rid of the EFL Trophy and the Europa Conference League.
No free kicks for full backs like Luke Ayling who dive to the ground when anyone goes near them.
Remove suspensions for Cup finals.

Book players who deliberately back into a jumping defender. Kane does it all the time. Probably the most serious injury you could get on a football pitch is a broken neck yet these go unpunished all the time.

Out there one, bonus points for goals. Every 10 goals you score in a season you get an extra point

Return to goal average, no play offs and 2 points for a win. At least then we might have the odd season with nothing to play for after Christmas.

I would really like to see the end of loan signings. The likes of the big premiership teams signing every promising young player on over inflated contracts most lower league clubs cannot match in the hope of getting the one great. Knowing they can recoup some cash later by loaning players out and hoping they will be good enough to sell at over inflated prices and therefore make a profit on players without any risk. Would town have been able to develop say Frankie if the system had existed in the sixties for example or would he have been one of hundreds at old Trafford Agree to an extent, but let's see ourselves as innocent. We must've had double figures out on loan this season. Similar shit, but a lower level.

Only one of those i'd disagree with is the last one, even then i'd relent a bit, if a player has earned a suspension for an horrific foul or blatant cheating then no they should serve their suspension cup final or not, if its a build up of minor infringements then maybe remove the suspension, for example a combative midfielder is going to be involved and incur bookings, sometimes deserved sometimes not.

Ban knee-sliding after scoring a goal! Must be considered. Should be booked like if a player removes their shirt.

Bring back actual attendance figures for a game not tickets sold, no dig there BTW!!

What exactly is it protecting anyone from? Is anyone really offended by it? Insert gif of Helen Lovejoy from The Simpsons here. If they've revealed some unauthorised advertising or an "offensive" message, then punish them for that, not the shirt coming off itself.

Why should a player be punished for showing emotion after scoring a goal? It’s ridiculous - the games all about passion.

End of season rule where Sheff Weds get a bye into a playoff final and then awarded a 94 min penalty to win the game to get promotion. Give their massive support a reason to cheer and a moment in the sun !

It's because they're basically removing the shirt sponsor's logo, at the most photographed / most replayed point in a game. Purely commercial.

The league cup should get some kind of refresh that sets it apart from just being a secondary FA Cup. Here's a silly idea.
First round is now just a round of league fixtures, leaving 46 teams from an even spread of the divisions. If it's a draw, the result stands for the league, but goes straight to penalties to decide who goes to the next round of the cup. Add 2 guest teams so there's 48. 3 more knockout rounds until there's 6 left. At this point add a North select team and a South select team to round the last 8- could be one of Neil's feb to may jobs!
Alongside that, use it as a testing ground for rule changes. Kick-ins, sin bins, etc

Players simulating head injuries to break up a prolonged attack should be red carded. Too much of this type of play acting going on!

Even better when the goal gets disallowed by VAR and player still gets booked….Richarlison for Spurs
