This is my favourite bit …
“I know that Utilita Giving has been created to help those families who are struggling in the face of the ongoing Cost of Living Crisis, so it felt right that we use this kit launch to highlight these two charitable endeavours.
Adult – Shirt: £50 / Shorts: £30 / Socks: £16 Ladies – Shirt: £50 Junior – Shirt: £40 / Shorts: £25 / Socks: £14“

And we need a third kit because...? Increasing revenue streams? people can't afford to heat their homes but maybe they can afford an expensive extra kit

And we need a third kit because...? Increasing revenue streams? You're probably right but from a clash of kits point of view there is absolutely no need for this. If any team is unlucky enough to clash with the green then we can revert to our traditional blue and white stripes (which we should be wearing as first choice anyway except in the case of a clash). More waste of the planet's resources but at least some sweatshop in China will be kept busy producing this overpriced garbage. Harrumph

Increasing revenue streams? people can't afford to heat their homes but maybe they can afford an expensive extra kit Nobody is forcing anyone to buy them. And before someone says "ooooh pressure on parents when kids want them" there's this word "no" that my mam and dad used to use quite often. Doesn't seem to be an option nowadays. Sorry if that sounds pissy, it's not aimed personally, but I'm getting fed up of people complaining about being "forced" to buy something when they're patently not.

And we need a third kit because...? When was the last time we didn't have a 3rd kit? I'm still no clearer why we actually need one. Just because other clubs do it doesn't mean we have to. I like the concept of sticking with the same kit for a couple of years, after all the quality is so poor that people will probably need to replace their shirt each year anyway.

Agree completely about not NEEDING a third strip. Especially the years that the away kit is massively different from the B&W with no danger of clashing. I wonder when teams first started selling the 3rd kit and who was the first to do so. I'd put money on it being Manure or the dippers that started it.

The music on the shirt unveiling video is awful! Suppose its targeted for younger ears than mine, bloody crap all the same, don't get why younger ones want to sound like theyre London Gangsters but there we go.
I do like the kit though!

I do like the kit though! wannabe London gangsters rapping about loving their mum and wanting to get their GCSEs. Hard hitting music from the mean streets isn't it. In fact it's already made me commit a knife crime since I first listened to it

Awful video, really nice kit though, I hope they use it more than the green thing. Whilst the 2nd kit has grown on me since seeing it IRL, I like this third kit much more. The shoulder detail is different to anything I've seen before on a footy shirt. It's gone on my Xmas list anyway

Is it even music?! Probably what our parents said about our dance music/heavy metal etc but jeez at least it had a beat, you could dance to it and made you feel good I feel a thousand years old whenever I hear this type of music noise. It's usually in my own house too Hoping the culprit will grow out of it Great looking kit btw! Looks dark blue on most of the pics I've seen, must be an optical illusion.

I went in the Yorks shop at Headingley last week. Shirts for 2yo were £45. Adult gilets were £70. Of course the natural reaction is ‘ow much? I suspect that most club apparel is bought for the wearer by someone whose love for the wearer exceeds their imagination.

We could play at any of our championship opponents in either the yellow or blue and white kit.
However, I suspect the yellow kit at Leeds or Preston might cause difficulty for anyone who is colour blind.
So that's the reason for a third kit. And the money of course.

I really like the 3rd strip and I’m definitely gonna buy it for sure !
The only error that I’ve made is having just shelled out £310 on (All 3XL) 2023/24 Adult Goalkeepers top - Adult away top (with name and No.10 on the playing strips) - Adult warm up jersey (Deep surf) - Adult warm up jersey (Aqua haze) - Adult training polo (Grisaille Grey) - And Adult training jersey (Aqua haze) that meant that spending over £100 got me free P & P but I’ll need to pay it on this order as having done the big purchase on Saturday it’ll likely be on it’s way to Bonnie Scotland by now !
I could probably have a wee good boozey weekend somewhere with what I spend on HTAFC merchandise gear - but I like buying it and showing off Town - but it is really nice gear, I get lots and lots of positive feedback about it and once again Luke and the design team at Town have cracked it big time with the stuff when one sees some of the other club’s junk kicking about out there so huge well done once again to Luke and the team from one very happy Huddy Town fan in Bonnie Scotland ! 😊 👍 😊

Lovely kit that, always prefer a stripe on the sleeve, & the gold looks good on it too. We've already started the season better than last year. How could we not?

And we need a third kit because...? People are gullible and some will buy owt with the club badge on it, and the clubs know it. Just look in the club shop, shelves of massively overpriced shite that would usually retail at least a third less cheaper if it didnt have the club badge on it.
